Pick It Up

River laughed nervously. "Yeah...remind me to never piss her off, Serenity." Looking at her own breakfast she grimaced again. It would be a waste not to eat it, so she forced herself to finish it. "I hope Chris gets to leave the hospital today."

Kent looked to Tam as she walked over to him and shrugged. "Honestly, I'm not sure. My father got my truck fixed and wants me to pick it up." He explained and tugged at one of the many loose threads of his pants leg. That was another thing he needed to get more of. Why did everything have to cost money?

Kevin grinned at the beer and nodded as he took one. "That sounds like a great plan." He said with a chuckle. Bonnie climbed onto the couch and was in her owners lap, not caring about how he smelled from his sweaty run earlier. She was just happy the blonde man was safe.

"Just don't let me do anything stupid if I get drunk." He warned Max.
