Tam smiled and leaned into Kent as they watched the movie, content in the thought that every single person in this theater was now terrified of both Kent and her. Tam was just happy to be with Kent, happy to keep him away from his horrible father. And better yet, just glad to not have her mind on the horribleness that happened with Chris.

Once the movie was over, they made their way to the food court where Tam looked up at Kent. "What do you want to eat? My treat."
