A Day Off

Kent rubbed at the back of his neck, glancing to Tam. "I need all the money I can get to fix my truck." He explained. "I can't just leave it to rust in my old man's backyard forever..."

Even as he said all of that, the young man was contemplating calling out. He had worked every single day for the past week and really would like a break.

So, with a shrug, he said, "You know what, I think I will take the day off."

Kevin grimaced at Serenity's request. "Well, I can take care of Winter. Am I just going to be watching out for him here or...?" The blond was aware that Nationals weren't in town and was not sure how the ice skater intended to handle this. Would he stay in town or go? If he went with them, he would have to speak with Stefan about arrangements and the pet shop.

As for Bonnie, she pawed at Max's hand playfully and let out happy little possum noises.
