No Rush

"I say we have a girl's day out and try to have some fun." River suggested as she finished her own breakfast and began cleaning up.

Kent was already grabbing his keys and adjusting his jacket, grimacing at the discomfort it caused to his bruises. "Thankfully, people don't care if a guy has a black eye so long as they get their stupid ice cream..." He muttered and went to wait at the door for Tamara.

He was in no rush to get to work, but he really wanted to get the day over with. A part of him wanted to call out just so he could keep Tamara company. It was easy to tell how uneasy she was. Who wouldn't be after what had happened?

Glancing at the clock, Kent sighed. "I really need to get to work." He finally said.

Kevin took a sip of the coffee and let out a happy sigh. "Thanks, Max." He replied with a grin and went to hunt down in his phone.

Bonnie watched the blond leave before turning her gaze to Max, obvious worry in her small eyes.
