Working All The Time!

Kent took the cup of coffee and offered her a kind smile. "Thanks," He said as he sat down and took the pancakes River set on his plate for him. "I guess that's fine. I'm used to walking at this point." A part of him knew he would have to head home tonight, but he couldn't bring himself to tell her that.

River huffed as she made more pancakes for everyone and got Serenity to actually sit and eat. "You have to get some rest if you want to succeed in nationals, young lady." She informed the ice skater. "You also need food to help with that fast metabolism of yours, so get to eating!"

Kent held in a laugh at how motherly River was acting toward Serenity.

Kevin shrugged at Max's question. "Stefan is dealing with a family emergency, so I'm working tomorrow." He explained. "I think his wife had a stroke or something...he didn't explain, but I promised to take care of things. You're welcome to come hang around and keep Bonnie company. Or, I can leave her here with you."

Said possum nuzzled into Max's hand before giving it little licks, a sign she loved him and his pets.
