Bruises

River took the pans that Serenity grabbed for her and made pancakes and waffles so everyone could choose which one they preferred. Adding to that, she let Serenity make the eggs and bacon, happy to have a helping hand from the blond.

When Kent finally returned in his clean clothes, which was his annoying uniform for the ice cream parlor, breakfast was done. Without his coat on, arms exposed, old and new bruises were visible on his arms that he tried to pretend weren't there. "Got any coffee?" He asked as he draped his jacket over one of the chairs in the room. "I need something to help me stay awake at work..."

River looked to Serenity. "I'll make coffee if you can finish the pancakes." She said before going to prepare the pot for coffee.

Kevin shrugged and gladly took his meal when Max brought it in. Happily eating his meal, he would share small bites with Bonnie, who nibbled and chewed in all her possum glory. Sadly, this meant her little sweater got dirty.

"Don't worry, Bon-Bon," Kevin said with a smile and scratched her head gently. "I'll wash it for you."

Looking to Max, he smirked. "You better figure out what you want to do about that Veronica woman so we can break the news to Bonnie."
