Uncomfortable Judgement

As they walked in, Kent did his best to walk properly, but kept favoring his right leg. The moment they were inside, he got a bit uncomfortable from River's judgmental stare. He was aware of her distrust towards men and made a mental note to stay away from her.

"I just need to stay away from Dad for a bit." He said with a grimace, adjusting his hat.

River shifted in place, staring at Kent as she gripped onto her camera. She had seen the way he walked, noted the black eye, and knew instantly something was wrong. Not only did Tam have a father tormenting her, but this boy obviously had something just as terrible going on.

"We should get going before fart head starts yelling again." She said, glancing toward wherever Alexei had gone.

Kevin looked back to Bonnie, who was enjoying all the attention from Max. "Yeah, she'll be happy to live with her other favorite human." He chuckled. "I do need to pick up my stuff, though. Landlord said I have until next week to get everything out at least. But, seriously, what was it you needed to talk about? You said something about getting my opinion on something in your messages..."
