A Much Needed Talk Pt. 2
Letting Aurora get everything out, tears and all, Kye offered her his rare smile and stood up. Pulling her into a tight hug, he sighed heavily. "We're alive, though," He spoke in a surprisingly calm voice. "I know I didn't do the best job, but I found you. I figured it all out somehow..."
For once, he felt like the older sibling. It was as if he were finally figuring things out, even if just a little.
At the mention of their parents and where the weapons might be hidden, Kye's mind became fuzzy and a lost look crossed his face. He could see their mother shoving him into a hiding place, making him promise not to come out unless Aurora found him. There was screaming and yelling and he could see blood-
Shaking his head, the memory gone just as fast as it arrived, Kye frowned. "I'm pretty sure we hid them under the house...well, the floor." He grunted the answer, pulling away from Aurora to sit down on the bed. Even with the memory gone and forgotten, he still felt a bit dizzy. A part him wanted to find a hiding spot and just stay there the rest of the ride.
Kye did not wish to leave Aurora alone, though. He had a feeling she needed him around for the time being. Besides, they were going to arrive in Pijal soon and he really did not feel like getting lost in this ship. Being lost in that accursed facility had been bad enough, even with Phenix's company.
"Lets get some rest for now." He said with a forced smile.
