Enkindle: Meet Up

Kye blinked in surprise as the communicator went off and let Aurora take it. "I honestly didn't know that was in there." He muttered and silently thanked whoever slipped it into his bag at the rebel base.

By the time they were outside, Kye had his sniper rifle at the ready and aimed at the Storm Troopers. "I'm tired of killing people, sister..." He held back the whimper that wanted to escape, refusing to let himself come off as a weakling anymore. If he was going to keep Aurora safe, he needed to toughen up.

Not missing the frustration on his sister's face, Kye let out a heavy breathe and took down as many troopers as he could. They were going to meet the rebels and could not risk losing the weapon they had stolen.

Staying upon Phenix's back, the siblings fought their way to the meeting point.
