Attempted Rescue

Kye bit at his bottom lip and could only see things going downhill at this point. They had his sister surrounded and he could only shoot so many people with his blasters. Having Phenix take him back down close enough to hop off, he pulled the second blaster from his hip and shot at more of the storm troopers.

"Sister," He cried out as he took down yet another soldier, only for them to be replaced by another. "How many are there?!"

Grabbing Aurora's arm, he pulled the older sibling aside so she would not be hit by enemy fire. To the young red head, his sister was all he had left. He could not let anyone harm her, even if it meant doing the one thing he hated: killing people. Fighting that constant distaste and fear, he kept shooting and praying he would not run out of ammo.

"Get to Phenix, sis!" Kye yelled to Aurora. "We need to get out of here!"
