I'll show you
Niko knew he'd just sealed his own death warrant. He'd planned on this contingency though he'd hoped he'd never have to use it. He slid a bit of cloth from his wrist to show he was wearing a small datapad of sorts, hidden to everyone normally. He tapped in a series of commands. This triggered a series of events...
All his men who had devices or were in one of his controlled locations saw a hologram at once declaring his departure, his sadness at that, and where they could access their share of the 'gang's ' plunder. And they needed to do that fast because in exactly 10 minutes his three buildings across the district would explode. They were carefully planned and set charges, meant to topple and destroy all of his buildings, remaining possessions, and any link the world had to him but not cause any damage to anyone outside his buildings.
At the same time, a tracker droid he'd had built locked onto his position and began toting a crate he'd set aside for just such an occasion. History books he'd read called it a 'bug out bag' though he needed more space than a bag offered. His crate, towed by the droid, should reach him in a minute or two and contained 50,000 credits, an array of weapons, a few datapads and connections to link them, and a few changes of clothes.
Climbing onto Aegon's ship, he saw his droid coming and thankfully land safely aboard. He opened it to get out the heavy blaster he had and saw only a note...
"Sorry boss, Mojo made me do it..."
Instead of his planned escape supplies, he had extra ammo for a standard blaster, 1,000 credits, a week of rations and a single, plain change of clothes. Rage boiled inside him. He pulled out the items, stuffed them in a backpack, and kicked the crate and droid in tow out the back as the rig headed for higher altitudes.
He turned to Aegon. "You owe me," he said waving the drive, "but I keep my promises and you held up your end..." and he tossed the drive to him. Smoothing his clothes and forcing himself to regain and maintain his composure, he turned to Inna. "So... I could use a drink. Can I buy you one?"
