My First Moment

(First post jitters, second I hope this is alright, Been a long time since I role played in anything.)

"You know we want this to be better then what happened your previous attempts at high school." That is what The head of the Roman said to his daughter with a certain sense of authority and demand.

Tanner felt herself die a little on the inside still be scolded. Did she deserve it? Yes she kind of did.

"Look Tanner, I know its hard fitting in. But the life I want for you is..." Oscar got interupted by Tanner sighing and looking at him. The distance in her voice now really starting t show. "Dad I told you I ain't like that no more. What do I have to do to prove it?" Tanner said feeling rejection and anger start to launch through her.

"All your mother and I want is.." He got cut off.

"She isn't my mother! She wants to be my friend not my mom!" She jabbed in.

That had been the last conversation Tanner had with her family. She was now about to start in a new chapter of life. Something that with luck would change her for the better.

The plane ride had been twelve long hours including layovers. She was coming in s a new student. The brochure had made a lot of bold claims. Maybe she could find somewhere to fit in?

The Cab ride had been longer then she had wanted, all she wanted was a shower and some sleep. She had pushed that argument out of her head. It was when she said outloud for the first time her mom was gone, her father tried to replace her. She hated him for it.

The very first thing she did was pay the cab driver, then went to the dorms to find out where she was going and just what she was supossed to be doing,
