The Auction and The Aftermath (Part 6)

Part 6: Pizza and Happy Birthday

Matt walked out for a moment, asking for Heath's help and the two came back with pizzas, putting them on two of the side tables. Matt had also ordered sodas. Matt asked for Heath to come with him and the two came back with cupcakes with a variety of colored icing on the top. Matt said, "Can everyone stop for just a moment?" Once everyone was quiet and looking at him. He said, "Ok, I know we are having the birthday party at the boardwalk on Sat. for them but I thought a little treat now would be good. Sam's birthday is today and Dawn and Zander... I know it's this week but not sure when.."

Dawn responded, "It was yesterday."

Matt continued, "Ok, well we have cupcakes for that. Sorry couldn't get candles but there you go. Anyway, happy birthday."

Sam, Dawn, and Zander thanked Matt and so, the group started feasting on pizza, soda, and cupcakes.

JD watched as the feeding frenzy started he turned to Rose, "I will get it for us. What do you want?" He asked Rose.

Conner saw the cupcakes, "Man I was hoping to jump out of a cake." He said laughing as he also got in line for food.

"Pepperoni. I might want to get two slices, though. They'll probably be nothing left later." Rose smiled at JD, "Some Coke and of course a cupcake, chocolate if they have it. Are you sure you can carry all of that?"

Sam had started to get up to get food and Heath stopped her, "Now, what kind of boyfriend would I be if I let my girlfriend get her own food on her birthday. Let me guess. One pepperoni, one veggie. Coke and a chocolate cupcake."

Sam nodded and gave him a kiss, "You do know me. Thanks."

Rose took a seat by Sam as they waited for the guys to come back with the food.

Heath came to the food as Conner commented about jumping out of the cake. He breathed a laugh then joked, "I suppose if you wanted even more girls after you, you could do that in the middle of the courtyard."

Right as Courtney was about to get into line her phone vibrated. She looked at it. Matt who was standing next to her heard her say she had to take it. He said he'd get her food. She told him what she wanted and thanked him then stepped out to take the call.

Matt got in line right as Kaylee also arrived at the line.
