Girl's Save The Boys Meetung

(Takes place Tues after dinner)

Rose had arranged to get one of the large meeting rooms for after dinner for the girls to meet at and she was currently getting the room arranged.

Sam and Courtney had started spreading the word yesterday morning which eventually got to everyone that could be thought of to be a part of the meeting. The scholarship girls were told to come; if they were worried about money they were told not to, it would be taken care of. The rich popular girls were excluded because they couldn't be trusted.

Sam, Courtney and Riley were the first to arrive and they helped Rose set up the room. Kaylee arrived soon after. The girls talked about fun the beach party had been and things like that but nothing overly important while they waited for the others to arrive.

After teasing Jack with her TLC and womanly charm, Ashley decided to let her Jack take a breather. Since it was already assumed she would win Jack in the bidding , he really had no reason to attend the meeting. So Ashley collected Blossom and headed to the meeting place. Blossom was nervous of course since this was way out of her budget and the idea of buying a guy for a day was almost sinful in her mind. So of course, Ashley reassured her that it was for fun and charity. So after some reassurance and a confidence boost, Blossom felt brave enough to go with Ashley. Once they entered the room they saw the other girls and greeted them.

Dawn and April had been spending time together and arrived together at the meeting; greeting the other girls. The skaters all arrived at the same time. Other groups started to arrive some of them came together but Rose would wait until everyone she assumed or knew was coming before she spoke up.

Once she figured it was good to go, Sam got everyone's attention and then gave the floor to Rose.

"I want to thank you all for coming," Rose started. "We have a problem. I overheard some of the rich girls talking about how they wanted to buy the guys at the auction and make them walk around on collars and leashes. If you are in this room that means that the guys you know are in jeopardy of that happening. They are targeting, well, pretty much anyone they don't like or consider a traitor." Rose took a breath. "I called this meeting to stop it from happening."

Ashley was not amused by this information. Just the idea of another woman trying to sink their claws into her cute and innocent Jack made her blood boil. On the outside she looked calm and collective but on the inside he mind was like a volcano of rage and furry. She licked her teeth as she imagined turning some snobby b!tches into human pretzels, which of course got Blossom's attention. Blossom then began a whispering conversation with Ashley so they coukld talk privately.

Blossom: You don't think they would go after Jack right?

Ashley: They called us here for that very reason, but I must admit they must have some serious brass ones if they try to take my Jack from me.

Blossom: I doubt Jack would cheat on you Ashley.

Ashley: I know Blossom. Jack doesn't look at other girls like that, but I don't trust those snobby harpies who think its amusing to play home wrecker with us for s#its and giggles.

Blossom: Yeah they are mean girls. Could they pull it off?

Ashley: Not completely. Those of us with a big allowance could stop them, but the girls with less money are vulnerable without a good backing. I am guessing that is why Rose brought us together since she seems to have a plan of sorts.

Blossom: But why am I here? I can't afford any guys with $20.

Ashley: Lets hear the plan first then figure out what to do.

Then they returned their attention to Rose to hear the rest.

Rose continued: "For those that can afford to you are more than welcome to contribute to help out. If you want to; that's fine but no one has to. For those who can't. You'll be covered. I'm putting up any money needed to make sure that their plan doesn't happen." She asked Sam and Courtney to bring out a few boxes that had slips of paper in it. "Those of you who have a boyfriend. You automatically get the guy you are dating. Sam, we already figured out about Heath. Ashley, I'm assuming you have Jack covered, is that correct?"

Ashley stopped her conversation with Blossom as Rose spoke to her.

Ashley: Huh? Oh yes of course. Thanks for asking.

Ashley felt a bit smug as she felt confident she was going to win Jack in the auction. She smiled at Rose then Blossom before she spoke again.

Ashley: Oh and Blossom is here to help the single guys in danger.

Blossom: I don’t have a lot of money but I’ll do what I can.

Both girls smiled as they waited for Rose to speak again.

Rose nodded. She went on to talk to the other girls with boyfriends and make sure they were covered. Anyone who said they couldn't cover it; Sam made a note of. Once that was taken care of, Rose went on. "Now, as for the girls who aren't dating anyone. I know some of you wanted to bid on certain guys; I understand and I want to apologize about that. These auctions usually end up with some guys getting a lot of bids and others getting almost none. That won't work this year. We need to make sure every guy who's jeopardy gets bid on and won by someone who's not one of those girls. In these boxes are the names of the guys who are in jeopardy minus, of course, the ones with girlfriends. Being I know some of you might be nervous with guys you don't know at all; I split them up by group. So, skaters, can one of you come up?"

One of the skater girls came up and grabbed the box they were given. The skater girl looked at Kaylee, then at Rose. "What about the girls that go between groups? I mean Kaylee's welcome to join us if she wants."

Rose responded. "We tried to decide that based on the number of guys in each group. Based on that Kaylee will be in a different group but thanks." She paused. "We had a few guys in the same position. We just had to decide based on the girls in each group."

"Theater girls, we know you hang out with the nerds as well and there are more theater girls than boys. So, I hope you're ok with it but the nerd guys are in your box, all except Zander. Any nerd girl can draw with the theater girls" She turned to Dawn and April, "I'm asking you two wait and not draw with them."

Dawn and April said it was fine and one of the theater girls came up to get the box; after they said that it was fine to them that they had the nerds in the box.

The boxes kept being given out by group until there was one box left and the girls left were part of the main group that Rose hung out with. The rest of the girls that had the boxes were busy picking out names. So, Rose could address this group separately. "This box contains the guys in our group. Zander and Dante included because they are; even if they go between groups. So, if anyone has any concerns or questions; feel free to say something now. "

Blossom looked concerned as she listened to the way Rose explained the process. She looked at Ashley and asked what she was thinking.

Blossom: So if we are single we just bid on the guy that Rose assigned us?

Ashley: Yeah and Rose will cover the cost since you have a small budget. Are you nervous?

Blossom: Does it show?

Ashley: Well yes. You are honest to a fault girl, but it’s part of your charm.

Blossom: It’s just I feel nervous spending Rose’s money like that.

Ashley: That’s understandable but just think of it as running an errand for her. Treat it like you are doing some shopping on her behalf. Does that help?

Blossom: Yes. If it’s like that then it’s less scary.

Ashley: So who did you get?

Blossom blushed a bit as she worked up the courage to answer the question.

Blossom: Kyle.

Ashley giggled a bit as she knew Kyle and Justin were into each other. However since they were keeping it low profile at the moment she had no plans to spread any gossip.

Ashley: Well that’s nice. He is very friendly. I bet you wanted to bid on Conner huh?

Blossom turned beet red as she stuttered in response.

Blossom: I don’t know what you are talking about?

Ashley: Relax girl. You can get your chance later on.

Then some of the girls began to compare which guys they were assigned to save.

Riley took her paper and mentioned she got Matt which seemed to confuse a few people who looked at Courtney.

Courtney sighed. "Matt and I aren't a couple. It's fine."

Kaylee picked out Zander. Courtney leaned over and said quietly. "Oh, well, I know that's not the person you wanted."

Kaylee responded. "Nah, it's fine. Zander's a nice guy." She then asked Rose. "Are we going to be able to explain this to the guys?"

Rose responded. "I'm going to talk about that in a minute."

April pulled her name. It was Justin. Dawn got Dante. Without much comment on either.

Courtney suddenly realized that left one name. "You've got to be kidding me." She chuckled as she pulled out the name to make it official. "The only name left is.." opening up the slip of paper. "Conner. Well, this should be interesting."

When Courtney announced that she got Conner's name, Blossom was a bit disappointed. She was hoping she would get a chance to cash in on that promised date he offered to her at the beach. Ashley could see that Blossom looked a bit disappointed and gave her a shoulder hug as she whispered to her.

Ashley: Cheer up girl. I have a feeling she is not into Conner but a different guy.

Blossom: Really? Conner is kinda popular and nice.

Ashley: Yeah which is why I prefer you choose a different guy but it is your life. So take it with a grain of salt and take your time with your feelings. We will be together for several years after all.

Blossom: Yeah you're right Ashley. This is a new thing for me.

Ashley: Oh and do tell me if he or any other guy tries to hurt you. I won't hesitate to turn them into a human pretzel and hang them by their family jewels.

Blossom: Ouch! You can be scary sometimes.

Ashley: Only when guys push it too far.

Blossom: Would you do that to Jack?

Ashley: Only if he tried to cheat on me, but he only has eyes for me so it's all good.

Blossom giggled a bit as the other girls went on about the names they got.

Once it looked like everyone got to choose. Rose asked if that was the case and everyone said it was. "I know some of you will want to tell the guys you know what's going on because it could cause some...complications...if you don't. It's fine with me if you let them know but just them. None of the rich popular group that might stop this from happening can know or it'll ruin everything. One more thing though; some of the guys will likely try to help, contribute money or something like that, thank them for the offer but decline it. Tell them it's taken care of." She paused "I'd like anyone who wants to help sponsor this to stay after the meeting. Are there any questions?"

Ashley and Blossom looked around and listened to the few questions that popped up. The questions mostly asked about how the online bidding worked and if the rich girls would find out who was in competition with them. These answers were quickly found and explained that the girls were assigned a number and to keep that number to themselves for protection since rumors spread fast in this school. Once they all found peace of mind they felt ready for the event to come.

Once the last question was answered, Rose said. "Anyone wanting to contribute money, just stay after the meeting. For anyone else; that's it. Thanks for coming. You're free to go."
