Blossom covered her mouth in shock as Kaylee drank that horrible concoction made by Nancy. She was also amazed that she got along with the others so well. She had a lot of concern that she might not fit in since she was a country girl or not rich. However the girls were rather nice despite being a bit on the naughty/adventurous side. She wondered what else the night held in store for her.

Riley winced a little for Kaylee but gave the girl props. Once that was done Kaylee looked at her phone and said. "This has been great. I think we can call it a night. This is tradition at the school so they'll be more during the year. Have fun everyone." And so concluded the SLC for the night with a few hours left for people to do other things.

Blossom then left the room and looked around to see where everyone was at. She a little nervous since no one said what they would be doing after the meeting. She hoped that Ashley and Jack were still at the bonfire and she could join them since most of the girls were doing their own thing now and she didn't feel ready to hang out with some strangers right away. So she went to the food truck and got a warm tea to warm her up before going to the bonfire to find Ashley and the others.

Conner had been sitting with the group He had noticed that the SLC for the night looked like it had ended. He got up and looked around. He was looking in the direction of the SLC people walking out of the building.

Conner: Hay guys, be back

Conner he had said to the group as he walks in the direction of the food truck. He had found what he was looking for. Blossom was walking She is cute' but she did look young for her age he thought. She looked almost like a 12 year old in the moonlight and other lights as she passed under them. Still, she had an appeal he could not put his finger on. Was it her innocents he started to wonder if she had even had her first kiss yet? He watched as she got some stuff from the food truck. as she started to walk towards the bonfire. Conner walked towards her He at first he was just going to walk by to see if she would even talk to him in the end he decided against it. he just put on his charming smile as he walks up to her.

Conner: Blossom, how is it going for you tonight?"

Conner was thinking of a plan to get her to dance or walk with him as he asked her.

Blossom was sipping her tea before she realized Conner was talking to her. She almost choked on her tea as she was startled a little bit. She did her best to not cough up her tea and force herself to swallow it. Once she regained her composure she smiled at Conner and spoke up. Then Blossom remembered all the girl talk about cute guys and who liked who and she turned a bit red when she recalled some naughty things the girls mentioned. This of course this got her curious about guys at school since many of them had a six pack and smelled nice, instead of back home where they had a beer belly and reeked of sweat and smelly animals. Sadly working with animals made her think guys smelled bad all the time. Being on a ranch/farm limited her perspective on life and the various people in it.

Blossom: So like are you looking for the other's I think they are at the bonfire. I was heading that way.

Blossom was wondering what he had plans for since he seemed to be a popular guy since she always saw him around other people. She took another sip from her straw to avoid saying something that would come off as odd as she waited till he responded.

Conner noticed the swallowing of the tea and almost laugh. he thought growing up in the country she would be moor aware of her surroundings. Normally they don't miss him he knew he was 6-3 he was taller than most of the guys at school.

Conner: Sorry if I startled you. Yes, most of the group was there. but I was wondering if you wanted to dance or go for a walk or something.

Conner thought he had to ask before she made plans also there were some other guys looking her over after the show. He did not think she even knew what was going on.

Blossom was not ready for Conner to ask her to hang out with him right off the bat. True Conner was cute but she was not sure if he was just being friendly or flirting with her since she has seen him hang around other girls.

Blossom: Ummmm....okay? Are you sure? I am new to the way they dance here. I might step on your feet.

Then Blossom realized what she said as she turned red again. Her cute mousy appearance in the moonlight was very adorable. Most guys would want to hug her at this point instinctively. She sipped her tea again from her straw to clear her throat.

Blossom: Either if fine if you want.

Blossom looked so cute as she looked up at Conner with her big brown innocent eyes. She was very nervous and was hoping not to burp at this point.

Conner looked her in the eyes and wanted to melt she was just too dam cute those big brown eyes. He did find it amusing she was blushing. He thought maybe he was being too forward. Maybe it was she was not use to this type of attention. Either way, He put himself out there and asked.

Conner: You don't have to worry about stepping on my feet. We danced once already and you did great. Besides, you can't miss these feet. What would you feel more comfortable with?

He hoped that the feet joke would put her more at ease but he was not wrong size 13 shoes are hard to miss. He had asked her with his natural charm but was she so innocent that he did not even pick that up or was she just not interested. He did just realize the height difference he was about a foot and half taller maybe she was bothered by that. He was not sure this does not happen to him often.

Blossom almost laughed at Conner's joke as she covered her mouth to contain her snicker. She found it funny but didn't want to laugh out loud in case her laugh sounded to funny and others might tease her for it.

Then Blossom remembered that Conner did dance with her before so she felt a little less intimidated by his request. Of course she was still on the fence on why Conner was being nice to her. Was he just being nice to her, did he loose a bet or was he really hitting on her? He mind was filled with questions like these and sadly there was no answers to her questions. So she thought to herself that she needed to be a big girl and tough it out like a tornado on the farm.

Blossom: So I am okay with a dance or walk or even both if you want.

Blossom looked at Conner with her big brown eyes in hope that he was being serious and not playing a cruel prank on her. Of course she did remember that Ashley would neuter him if he was a jerk to her so she took some comfort in that part.

Conner: No problem a lot of people make jokes about my height and my feet it does not bother me at all. Dance or walk, Both? We can walk some if you want and then end up at the bonfire. If that would make you feel at ease.

Conner motion towards the beach for them to walk he would walk next to her. Thinking about what to say.

Conner: I wonder if you are thinking why I am spending time with you I do want to get to know you. I do think you are cute. Please don't think I am playing you. I am serious besides I think every guy here fears Ash too much to do that to you. A lot of girls wonder if I am playing around and yes I flirt a lot. This is about getting to know you. and where you come from who you are.

Blossom giggled a bit before covering her mouth.

Seeing as Conner was being flirty but friendly she felt less nervous. His was cute but big goof. At the very least they could be friends. It also made her amused that many guys were afraid of Ashley. If it wasn't for seeing Ashley hoist a guy up by his crotch when he was harassing them before she would not understand why. However the rumor mill was fast and furious when it came to gossip.

Blossom: A walk would be nice.

Blossom then followed Conner in the direction of the beach. She was curious what they would talk about. Being a funny guy, she wondered if he used humor to break the ice of a conversation.

Conner stopped or slowed to make sure Blossom was beside him. he looked down at her and smiled. He wanted to ask if she has a boyfriend before as they walk but changed his mind.

Conner: I was thinking you know You're like a credit card because you have my interest.

Then Conner chuckles some with a grin hoping she got the joke.

Conner: So Do you back home walk along the lake at night? wait do you live near a lake?

Conner wondered what her home was like? He had no idea he would just have to ask her more questions about home. He saw someone standing to the side he looked it was Jocelyn standing there. He wondered for a moment if she wanted to talk. But Jocelyn just stood there. He let it go and would talk to her later.

Blossom chuckled a bit at Conner’s joke/pick up line. Though she was aware that pick up lines existed, it was the first time a guy said one to her. She found it funny coming from Conner as he smiled at her. It was the first time a guy ever flirted with her. Back home guys were not interested in her due to her flat and thin body. The guys in her home town preferred girls with a big chest.

Blossom: Your funny. To be honest this is the first time a guy has flirted with me. Back home everyone sees me as a little girl.

Blossom was a bit red from Conner’s flirting and attention. As nice as it was she doubted he was into her since she didn’t see herself as pretty compared to the other girls in the school. As much as she liked Ashley, she felt plain compared to her. Then Conner asked about her life.

Blossom: Well sometimes when I am camping with my family. It’s kind of far and we do have to worry about snakes. Since the hospital is not close we can’t afford to get bit.

Then Blossom noticed Conner looking past her. She turned her head to see Jocelyn looking serious. She wondered if she wanted to talk to Conner. After a sigh she felt like her time with Conner was up.

Blossom: If you need to talk to her I’m okay. It’s prolly important right?

Conner looked back at Blossom and paused thinking.

Conner: No, If she wanted to talk she would have aid something I think. I made this time to spend with you. If it was important she would have said something.

Conner wanted to make sure everything was alright but nothing seemed out of place.

Conner: Oh back home you have snakes. I have seen a lot of snakes all at the zoo and I like it that way.

Conner hoped with his comment about snakes he would get back to Blossom and their time together.

Blossom: Zoo huh? We don't have one of those in Dot, Montana. Maybe one day I might be able to see one. Sadly since its a small place there isn't much to do there. Other than the one or two movies at the local theater, most of the students hang out at the Dairy Queen.

Blossom found herself rambling again but she was still worried that Jocelyn wanted to talk to Conner. She wondered if it was important or was she interested in Conner. Granted he was tall, funny and cute, but since he flirted a lot it was hard to tell if he was really interested in a girl or just being friendly.

Blossom: Sometimes my parents would drop us off at the DQ while they ran errands, watched a movie or wanted to be alone for a date. Since the town was small everyone knew each other so it was hard to keep a secret there. I usually hung out with the cheer squad since they didn't treat me bad, but I wish I was a bit more popular. Then I could have more stories to tell, but my life there was rather boring.
