Pick Your Flavor

Sam and Dawn were talking about how their first day had been and didn't really see JD or Conner standing behind them. When they got to get the ice cream, Sam was relived as she saw the people dishing it out were some of the advisers for the dorms.

The people that knew about Rose included the staff of the school that would need to know. That included the advisers. She got to one of the younger advisers that had been here last year. The woman wanted the teens to call her Sharon.

"Hey, Sharon. Rose couldn't make it. Could I get an extra cup for her?"

Sharon smiled. "Sure, Sam. What flavor?"

"Chocolate for her. Cookies and Cream for me. Thanks."

Sharon scooped out the ice cream and then said. "We can hold Rose's in the freezer in the back."

"Oh, that'd be great."

Sharon proceeded to hand the ice cream to someone that Sam didn't recognize who took it towards the back of the rec center.

Dawn got strawberry and the two girls went to find some place to eat their ice cream. They actually found a little area with a few seats and sat down.

Heath feel in line a few people behind JD and Conner and as he spotted Sam and Dawn then suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder.

"Hey, Courtney." He smiled at her.

"Hey." She smiled back. She had apparently gotten in line right behind him. "Any luck gettin' a hold of Sam and Rose?"

"Yes." He responded and nodded to where Sam and Dawn were sitting. "Sam's here. That's Dawn sitting with her. I guess Rose didn't come."

Courtney nodded then looked ahead of Heath. "Conner 's here. Who's he talkin' to? Is that the infamous JD?"

Heath breathed a laugh. "That's JD but I'm not sure I'd call him infamous. Or he works quickly,"

Courtney grinned. "So, you got a favorite flavor? Mine's Mint Chocolate Chip. I wonder if they've got that."

"I really like Rocky Road but they probably won't have that here. I'm probably end up with Cookies and Cream or something like that."

Surprisingly enough there was Mint Chocolate Chip for Courtney but no Rocky Road as predicted Heath ended up with the Cookies and Cream.

A few people further back

Melissa had arrived on her own. Doug had said he he had something to do tonight and wouldn't be making in to this. She was too far back to really notice Conner or JD but did say hi to some of the other cheerleaders.

Even further back
Kyle had made it and ended up near Zander and April. Who he said hi to. The three talked about nothing in particular. Kyle did find out that Zander and April were going to be playing D&D in one of the smaller rooms the rec center had with a group of their friends. Kyle had never played D&D but knew of the game as it appears in more than one movie.
