Hate running
Jocelyn hated running, but PE was a required class. Since not everyone was running it was clear she could also get away with it but it still didn't take to long to get tired, and for her feet to start hurting. Standing in one place all day during the summer at work hurt her feet but in a different way.
Though she kept walking. Seeing a few students pass her a few times before she'd made it around once. Jack being one Dante the other, and a few people who's names she couldn't remember. Not like it mattered a ton anyway, not like she could remember all of them even if she wanted to.
Dante did little more than run his laps, and listen to the music in his earbuds. Trying to figure out what his next cover should be, juking out of the way of people as he passed them up.
It was Jocelyn's second and a half time around the track when a group of girls she didn't know jogged past not getting out of the way and pushing past her. Trying to get out of the way Jocelyn tripped hurting her ankle and scraping her hand.
Dante came to as stop and walked up to Jocelyn. "Hey you okay?" he asked, offering her a hand up. "No." she said scowling at the girls in the distance, and taking his hand. Letting out a wince as she tried to stand. "Come on." he said crouching down, "I'll carry you back."
"I don't know." she said, balancing on one foot. "Well, you could always just hop back." Dante teased "but I imagine you'd be here all night if you did that."
So reluctantly Jocelyn climbed onto his back. Excepting him to at least struggle a tiny bit. She was light but didn't expect him to have such an easy time carrying her. Managing a light jog with his hand as a seat she held him around his neck. "So do you do this for all the girls?" she asked, "Only the cute ones." he said. Unknown to him her face lit up red as a stop light.
Back at the track starting point he took her over to the bleachers, where he saw Kyle , Heath, Dawn, Zander and April talking. Dante helped Jocelyn sit on the bleacher. "Hey have any of you seen the coach?" he asked. "I had a bit of a spill." Jocelyn told them, showing them her hand, "And my ankle hurts too." she said now realizing Dante had half a bloody hand print on his gym shirt.
