OOC - Comments and Questions

Just a thought that came to me as I clicked to up vote on a post earlier today. Does anyone else think that since the introduction of the "What do you think?" Options, people tend to comment or add star ratings to posts much less?

I gues the latter is a straight replacement but the former is a loss to my mind. Does the convenience of the rating system snag on our lazy gene and keep us from using Disqus as much?
