OOC - Interest Check: Game Pet Peeves Survey

Hey guys, I was thinking about putting out a survey to try to collect information on what things people like and dislike about games in order to help game developers tailor their games toward toward the community. I'll post what I've written so far, but I'd like to see if there is substantial interesting in taking such a survey before I put a ton of work into crafting one.

=======================

This is part 1 of a survey I'm going to post here that I'm designing with the intention of helping game developers create and maintain their games in such a way that potential members are less likely to be turned off by something they see (or don't see).

All the "questions" will be statements that describe something that you might find irritating. Rate each statement with a value between -1 and 5 (including those end values). The values indicate the following:

-1 means you like seeing the described detail in a game.
0 means the described detail doesn't bother you at all.
1 means that the described detail irks you slightly but it wouldn't influence whether you would try the game out or not.
2 means that the described detail irritates you enough that you might not join the game if enough other things are wrong with it.
3 means that the described detail will be heavily factored into your decision to join the game or not.
4 means that you most likely won't join the game if the described detail is present, although if enough other redeeming qualities are present, you might consider giving the game a shot.
5 means that you won't join the game if the described quality is present, period, end of story.

To summarize, the higher the number you put in, the less you like the described detail. You can put a decimal number in if you are torn between two values, and you can also put "N/A" if you don't know how you feel about the described detail. Answer these "questions" as if you were looking to join a game today. Also, if you have any recommendations for statements not included that are related to the Game Description and the Game Information section, I'm all ears.

Setting Details

A: There is little to no information about the setting readily available in the game description, the game information section, nor are there links to relevant posts nor external sources.

B: The described game setting is original and convoluted enough that you would need assistance to design a decent character and get into the game.

C: The setting is not original, you are not terribly familiar with it, and there are no summaries of material you need to know to understand the setting nor links to sources about the setting.

D: Original or not, you are going to have to do an extensive amount of reading in provided external links, linked posts, the game description, and/or the game information section in order to understand the setting (this statement assumes you have little to no prior knowledge of the setting).

E: The game is not one of your preferred genres.

F: There is little-to-no readily available information that describes what you could actually do in the described setting.

G: The described setting is massive in scale and character catagories, potentially limiting the amount of character interaction.

H: The described setting corners you into one particular group or party.
