Nations among the stars (New Game)

I have recently started a new game. I have not seen a game where you play as nations rather than characters and thought it would be a great idea to start a game.

I saw someone else had tried to start a similar game, but after waiting to join for a week and seeing that the creator was not active and that no members had been accepted I thought I would try making a similar game and copy some elements while trying to make it as accessible as possible for all players.

I am looking both for more players willing to join the game as well as advice on how to make the game better.

I have also made other games in the past that have fizzled out and want help making sure that the games I am in now don’t suffer a similar fate.
