Too Much
-Dalen Capital, Valade Estate. Noon, 2 DSTR-
Gularzob noticed the frown the painted itself across Kalena's features at his request, so he smiled slightly and lifted a hand slightly as he spoke, "No worries, Miss Valade, it is nothing serious. I only wanted to show you a sample." Lowering his hand, he made a mental reminder to show her the sample before speaking about the progress or other necessary items.
Gularzob noted the new man, Kline, as he walked over and offered a greeting. Raising his eyebrows for slight dramatic effect when Kline used a formal orcish greeting, Gularzob smirked before returning the greeting. He could not help but look the man over with greater interest now. It was not often that you met someone who could speak orcish, much less be able to offer traditional actions. Seeing the man looking him over as well, Gularzob could not help but wonder what the man was thinking. He was beginning to feel awkward under the scrutiny, so he could not help but square his shoulders and stand up taller.
Hearing the man's business proposal, Gularzob was pulled from his subconscious nervousness and put into a world he understood much better. Nodding slightly as he listened, Gularzob glanced towards the home that the man had come from to see if he could catch sight of any of these would be students. Seeing no such person, he turned his gaze back down to Kline and replied with a nod, "I would be very interested and would feel greatly privileged to have that opportunity. I'm not sure how much I can offer, but I would make it worth your while."
Once they were inside the home, Gularzob began to gravitate to the side of the foyer, wishing he could disappear into the wall tapestries. He was not used to all of this attention, for he could usually either limit the number of people in his shop or limit how many of them could speak to him at once. With all of these introductions, he felt he was doing a good job simply stayong on his feet and remembering everyone's name. Looking at the tapestry closest to him, he nearly missed Lafayette's words. Turning to face him as he spoke, Gularzob looked up at the vaulted ceilings for a second before speaking, "There are not extremely unique metals under Dalen control, but I do know of a few steels you can get if you are willing to pay the price. One of the best steels in the world is Praitine steel from the Timber Crag Kingdom. They keep the purest steel for themselves to arm their military, but they do sell a version that is still superior to any regional steels."
