It's a Date

*Barble's Shop, Radogast. Late Afternoon, 1 DSTR*

"No hard feelings with the local...cuisine, but I would much rather treat you to a meal at my home, Elthien. See it as for old time's sake, since it has been so long since we saw each other." Isai shook his head and chuckled softly, after which he spoke in a more hushed voice, "I was foolish on the outset and didn't think to procure transportation for the return journey. Take your offer of paying for the meal, and instead invest it in transportation to the capital. I will pay for this and meet you out front soon. Barble makes quick work of the meat, but he only serves the finest of cuts.

Auriel noticed his smile falter as he continued. "My request regarding those two stands, but if they must come, I will allow it. However, they must behave themselves and not try to lie once we arrive. I am the only true sympathizer in my home, she is on the fence. However, any attack towards her is an attack on me, I trust you understand the implications. Now, go on. I will be out soon."

Auriel nodded and walked off toward the exit of the shop, gesturing for Jack and LeLu to follow. Once they were outside, she lifted her visor (being sure to not face out into the street so as to limit the likelyhood of her being recognized), and, in a hushed tone, said to her brother and his girlfriend, or fiancée, or wife, or whatever they were, "Well, we kind of messed up in there, but I think I salvaged the situation. Going foreward, I will tell you who we can trust and who we can't. Anyway, I'll plan on going to the capital with Isai to hopefully expedite the process of getting your new identies approved. Until then, I will give you two free reign to do whatever. I will tell Celebrian to let you borrow up to thirty gold worth of equipment. I should be back by tomorrow afternoon."

Auriel then led Jack and LeLu back to the safehouse. Once they were in, she informed Telebrin of what had transpired. She then packed a few sets of clothes of varying degrees of formality into a bag. Before she left, she went up to Jack with her visor lifted and kissed him on the cheek, whispering, "I'm so glad we finally met. We're going to change the world Jack. I promise. See you soon."

She then went up to LeLu and pecked her on the cheek in a similar manner. "Don't let him do anything too reckless, okay?"

Auriel waved the two goodbye, then left the safehouse and went to the city stables to reserve a carriage before going back to Barble's Shop to check on Isai. Isai was just walking out with his meat when she arrived.

"Would you like a hand?" she inquired.
