An Impressive Mess

Ceriden had seen some pretty unpleasant things in his lifetime, but seeing and hearing Gareth make short work of the cow still made him feel rather queasy. He noticed Sabina wisely putting some distance between herself and the hungry vampire and he walked after her. Once they were a safe distance away, Ceriden asked the perturbed Sabina, "Can I borrow your book for a bit while our friend makes a mess? As I said earlier, there are some things I'd like to familiarize myself with before we do this spell so as to limit the likelyhood of me making a mistake."

Ceriden glanced back at Gareth, then muttered, "Also, I think we're going to need to buy him another outfit."
