Hunt Down

Oruvand smirked as the woman gave up her key. Personally, in the back of his mind was doubt that this plan would work or that it would end in sort of ugly fight, but things went smoothly. The Inn Keeper, either due to not wanting to lose her personal guard or some other reason, decided to simply hand the key over. Oru left the gold on the counter.

"For your trouble." He simply said, before following Kalena into the west hallway.

As they approached the hall, Oru stopped and spoke, the smirk gone from his face.

"I don't trust her. All of the trouble she put us through before, why would she give up so easily all of a sudden? If the Keeper's still attempting to hide him and directed us to the wrong wing, then we'd better split up."

Oru pointed his crossbow at the ground, but held fast with both hands so that he would only have to whip it up in a fluid motion to fire.

"If we split, just a word of caution; he is quite the cunning little rabbit, I wouldn't be surprised if he's set something up. If I were you, I'd be careful."
