First Day

Who: Stark, Ben
Where: Stark's Quarters
When: First day of arrival
He looked around the dank room. He sighed and tossed his duffle bag on
the floor and took in the room's details. It was small and a bit
stuffy with a small bed, table, and what appeared to be an outdated
computer terminal with a ragedy looking chair.
Stepping deeper into the room he pulled the chair out and the small
wheels on the legs wobbled and one of the wheels fell off. Ben shook
his head thinking how typical for him. His journey here had been less
then stellar and he was hoping for a bit of good luck. His first bit
of business was to get his gear stowed and to find his new boss.
According to the security guy that escorted him to his quarters the
sec boss was on the security deck somewhere - probably hibernating in
the brig.
The ship itself was huge and Ben knew right away that he'd have his
work cut out for him trying to get the ship's security systems running
proficiently enough to satisfy his tastes, of course he didn't want to
step on any toes being the new guy, so he'd have to be, well, civil of
course.
After getting settled he would have to take a tour of the ship and
maybe find a pub for a quick drink. And see how the social life was
here - especially the female kind. He grinned to himself thinking
about all the new things he was about to experience.
His eyes continue to observe the small room. A small dirty mirror
hanging on the far wall caught his eye and he moved over to check his
new crisp uniform. He brushed his long bangs back and thought he could
use a shave but decided it was good enough. He just hoped the new boss
wasn't a stickler for uniform codes.
The next hour or so Ben emptied his duffle bag and stowed his clothes
shoes and other things in the small lockers in the room and then
decided to head out. He exited his quarters and looked right and left
down the long corridor not sure which way to go. Finally he decided to
head right and hoped he wouldn't get lost.
