Physical Appearance
5'7" well built but not quite stocky, bright green eyes and next
leangth brown hair. Uniform worn properly but always looks like it
has been used as a mechanics rag.
Personality and Interests
Easy going, goes about his job in a competent but relaxed manner.
Usually found mingling with the technicians and engineers as opposed
to in the officers mess. Enjoys playing his saxophone, occasionally
jamming with other crew members much to the dismay of other officers
and shift commanders.
History
Born on Mars colony Austrian quater to mother Janet and father
Peter. Grew up with his twin brother Karl who was tragically killed
in a cheese grating accident. Trained as MMC (Martian Mining
Corporation) drive engineer, but looking for a more relaxed
environment joined the JMC officer training program and excelled in
communications and interstellar thermonuclear weaponry.

Athletic build, has lustrous brown hair, aquamarine eyes and a
missing pinky finger on his hand. His normal casual dress are khaki
pants and a sleeveless tee shirt.
Personality and Interests
Mild-mannered, with a strange sense of humor. He enjoys the company
of most people but has problems dealing with those who have no
common sense. He likes to flirt with women and occastionally plays
practical jokes on those he considers friends. Can be a work-a-holic
at times but still makes time to hit the pub for a pint now and
again.
History
Both of Ben's parents are teachers that moved from ship to ship
causing Ben to have a very travelled child hood. His interests have
always been computer hacking as well as anything dealing with
tactical training and small arms. He has trained under many teachers
learning boxing, jujitsu, fencing, and not a bad shot with a pistol.
He isn't an expert or "master" by any means but he tries hard and
enjoys it. His parents, being pacifists, never liked Ben's hobies
and interests and a rift came between them. To this day Ben will not
speak to his parents and hasn't contacted them in over a year.
Joined the JMC after graduating with a college degree in Computer
Engineering. He is currently waiting assignment.
