Xmas Special, part 1

Chris & Kanaki returned to their room after the fight with Satan,
both of them collapsed on their bed, totally worn out.
"Kanako.....my love, my dreams, my hope" said Chris, laying Kanako
down on the bed, half asleep.
Kanako lay beside him, also half asleep, stared at the ceiling above
them. "I can't be all that.." she said, turning to him.
"Yeah you can...and you are" he said, kissing her before moving to
his own side of the bed. "Good night honey" said Chris, turning his
lamp of, and making sure his Nano's woke him up at 11:55 pm..giving
him two hours of sleep for the time being.
"night babe" she said, falling asleep as soon as her head hit the
pillow. It had been a rather eventful few days, and it was about to
get a hell of alot more so.
Chris woke up at 11:55 and rolled out of bed, he turned around to
observe the beauty that lay in the bed, sleeping beauty it could be
said, he walked over to the cabinet, and picked out the ring, it was
diamond, and put Chris greatly out of pocket.
But it was a worthy cause, he'd not needed to tell himself that
though. He returned to the bed, and woke Kanako.
"Darling, wake up, listen, can you erm....answer a tiny little
question for me?" he enquired, very very nervously.
"a question?" Kanako asked, blearily. She rubbed her eyes as she
tried to look at him. "can't it wait till the morning?" she added,
turning over
"It will be the morning in about 3 minutes", he said, "Anywho...the
question....."
Kanako groaned, and turned back to face him, this time she saw the
look on his face. "what's wrong?" she asked.
"Kanako...let me put it to you another way" he said softly,
fingering for the case in his pocket, "I've never met another girl
like you, and I doubt I ever will , you are everything to me. I know
you must think I am mad in asking as I've hardly known you so
long...And I expect your answer to be no....but hell, its worth a
try..."
This piqued Kanako's interest, she turned her full attention to him,
and sat up, she tried to hide the smile that was beginning to appear
on her face, but she would never know how well she'd done.
"Kanako FeBuggre, will you marry me?"
Kanako had thought this was what he was going to say, and almost cut
him off as the smile erupted onto her face in full force. Chris
also felt the full force of Kanako, she she flung herself at
him. "yes" she whispered into his ear as she held onto him.
"Now I know why I love you....." he said softly.
"and i love you too" she said, not relenting her grip on him,
At this time, the clock had just turned midnight. "uhh, Kanako, hon,
would you mind getting off me for a second?" Chris asked, holding
onto kanako with one hand, and the ring with another. As Kanako let
go, he retrieved it from his pocket, and opened it for Kanako to
see.... Her eyes opened wide, and a huge smile burst outwards,
flooding the room with happiness. She took the ring from the box,
and placed it on her finger. "Kanako Harris" she said. "Its got a
ring to it eh?" she said, pointing to her ring as she said
it. "sorry, that was a bad pun."
"Meh, You're perfect, nothing bad about you at all" he said, sitting
her on the bed and kissing her.
she giggled, "i'm not perfect." she said, "but my life is." she
added, smiling at chris.
"You are perfect....nobody matches your beauty...or your
personality" he said, sitting next to her and putting an arm around
her.
She purred softly at the compliments, and let her head rest on his
shoulder. "ditto" she said plainly.
Chris kissed her softly over and over again, and she continually
giggled, but it didnt seem to bother her.
As he kissed her, she began to grapple with him again, pulling him
down onto the bed, kissing him back. "I think i could do with some
more sleep before we get carried away." she said, still smiling.
"Awwww" said Chris, shrugging, "Up to you"
"look at me, i look awful... i'll have bags under my eyes for weeks
to come." she said, but seeing the look on Chris' face, she
sighed. "I'm sorry babe." she said, pulling the covers over them
again, and cuddling up to him.
"Meh, as long as i get a cuddle, why would I be bothered?" he said
pulling her closer to him, and then the pair of them, closer than
imaginable, drifted slowly off to sleep.
