Two Trees- Continued

Who: The Big Pink Tree, Python, Bonzai Boy
Where: Outside the Recruitment Office
When: During Shore Leave

The Big Pink Tree continued to rustle.
"Why does this tree keep on rustling?" Python asked. "Is this Tree
Language.
The Big Pink Tree continued to rustle.
"Hang on!" said Bonzai Boy. "I can understand this."
"What?" Python asked.
"This IS a tree language, which every tree can understand." Bonzai
Boy said
The Big Pink Tree continued to rustle.
Bonzai Boy said, "I think he is saying something like 'I don't
believe this, how could there be another tree?'"
Bonzai Boy rustled back.
"What are you saying to it, Bonzai Boy?" Python asked.
"I'm asking him what he means?" Bonzai Boy replied.
Big Pink tree rustled back and Bonzai Boy translated, "I mean I am
the ship's tree. That is my place on board. I'm unique. How can
there be 2 trees?"
Bonzai Boy rustled back to the Big Pink Tree.
"What are you saying now?" asked Python.
"I'm telling him that I am the new tree on board and that he has to
face it." Bonzai Boy replied.
The Big Pink Tree rustled back frantically.
"What did he say just then?" Python asked.
"You do not want to know!" Bonzai Boy replied.
Bonzai Boy rustled back.
"I just told him he has to face facts!" he said.
Big Pink Tree rustled back and Bonzai Boy translated, "But, I already
have had enough trouble fitting in, without a tree coming on which
can actually communicate with humans properly. Most of the time,
humans have no idea what I am saying. I have a feeling they made me
ship's phamasist as a joke, to wind the customers up."
Bonzai Boy rustled back.
"I'm now saying 'In that case, we might as well be friends who stick
together'." He translated to Python.
Big Pink Tree rustled back. Bonzai Boy tranlated, "Okay then! I
never thought of that in the first place. At least I will have
someone I can talk to and who can take me seriously."
"So, have you decided to make friends?" Python asked.
"Yes" said Bonzai Boy. "Anyway, I might as well be friends with him
as we are fellow trees."
Bonzai Boy rustled to Big Pink Tree. Big Pink Tree rustled back.
Python and Bonzai Boy went down the corridor to find their room.
