A Brilliant Piece of Hologramatic Techonology
"And THAT my friend, is justice" smiled Jay
"I can't believe that man," Cerebrum muttered to himself, pounding down
the hallway as he pushed some buttons on a remote control. "First he
kills me, then he does this to me."
"Jay wasn't the one who killed you," Holly helpfully pointed out over
the radio channels.
"He is the head of the piloting department, Dean is his subordinate,
therefore, anything Dean does is also Jay's fault," replied Cerebrum,
using fuzzy logic. "Fortunately, as the ranking ASSHOLE on board this
ship, I happen to have access to a number of tricks."
"Are you referring to that remote control which is completely black and
doesn't have any records in my database?"
"What do you think I'm referring to?" Cerebrum transmitted back. "This
is a brilliant piece of hologramtic technology."
"What's it do?" asked Holly.
"This," proclaimed Cerebrum, came to a halt and stabbed his finger down
on a button. Immediately, and without chance for any reversal, a quarter
of the vending machines on the ship shorted out.
"That wasn't supposed to happen," Cerebrum mused, as Keto closed in.
"Stupid black text on a black label on a black remote. I can't read
anything." He started pushing more buttons."
Keto dived as Cerebrum pushed another button, then passed through
Cerebrum's now soft-light body, though one that resembled Wildflowers,
and hit the wall headfirst.
"Close one," Cerebrum muttered.
