I'm gonna post BETTER and u can't stop me!!!

Kayn was annoyed.
He wanted, no NEEDED a job that allowed him to fly and crash without losing a salary
 
And he was going to beat that four armed alien. What was Efof's problem anyway? So he flies the space eagle, DOESN'T crash it and comes back with sunday dinner attached to it's hull. It doesn't make him ace rimmer and it won't stop Kayn getting that position
 
He bumped into Ashley on the way down to Engineering.
"I heard you quit your job..." she said as he passed into the elevator
"Yeah...I'm going for that Flight Navigator and Starbug pilot job"
"Does that mean I get your job full time?" she asked
"Guess so...but you do that already" Kayn laughed as he entered the elevator
 
She looked at him quizically before sitting in his seat and began, once again, filing her nails
 
Engineering
23:00 Hours
 
Kayn entered the cargo bays and looked at the half rebuilt Valkyrie. Soon...he would FLY!
 
And there would be no stopping him
 
"Kayn...there's a problem" came the familiar voice of Steev
"What is it?" Kayn muttered. The last time it had been a screw that was loose in the air lock. The time before it was a jam sandwhich on the windscreen
"Zack's gone purple and is throwing up near your room..."
 
It's going to be one of those years, thought Kayn. There were 23 hours until the party started (10:00pm New Years Eve) and Kayn needed the Valkyrie ready by then
 
He'd break the sound barrier as the new year came in!
 
Kayn's Quarters
Midnight
 
Everyone on Kayn's floor was asleep, bar Zack - who was currently throwing up corrosive acid, muttering the words 'ointment' over and over
"You need a doctor" came from Kayn's lips as Zack started puking the green liquid. THis resulted in a cry louder than a sonic boom...
 
"Ointment....work...tommorow...not...enough...strength...need....rest.... some...idiot...threw me out.....no...place...ug...rest"
 
Oh god...thought Kayn. He told himself not to go to Keto when it came to his personal record for his new job and tugged Zack into his quarters and threw him into the top bunk.
 
"Poor lunatic" thought Kayn as Zack muttered "ointment" in his dreams. As an afterthought, Kayn gave Zack a bucket
 
Then Kayn went back to work at Engineering - The Valkyrie inched towards completion - with more flashy things than ever!
