"Well" said Dean "One would have to presume the best course of action would be to destroy this infernal machine" he gestured toward the DNA manipulator as he said this.
Jay stared at Dean for a few minutes then said "..um...yeah..he's right"
"Right" said Phil "I'll get an engineering team over here to dismantle it, while we head toward's Ceti-9, Cannon tells me there's something of interest there too, with your permission of course Captain Chrysler"
Alota nodded "Granted"
"Did you say Ceti-9?" Jay asked
"Yeah, if Cannon's telling the truth theres something just just might help us get the crew into some kind of order again"
"Phil" Jay continued, "The ceti system is a no-go zone,..it.."
Dean interuppted "That particular solar family is located in the centre of a highly unstable nebula, the planets are incapable of supporting humanoid life"
"So we'll wear EV suits, wheres the problem?"
"Not possi...." Jay began before he was interuppted by Dean again
"Just a small doage of the radiation on that nebula is enough to kill the entire population of China, including those that run takeaways in south London in seconds"
"All the South London Chinese Takeaways?" Alota said "Wow...that's potent stuff.."
"Big deal!" said Amber "That beer Dean and Jay made in starbug 56's engines was more dangerous than that"
"WHAT BEER?!" Alota asked, annoyed, fermenting your own alcohol was illegal, if of course she didnt get a share in the profit.
"We were...." Jay started
"Trying to.." Dean added
"Develop a weapon of mass destruction for use against the hymenoptera!" Jay finished
"Good one..." Dean whispered
"Well...we could always send down Kara and Allie..or the mechanoids"
"You'd be hard pressed to do that either" Eve said glancing at her portable science computer, "The radiation Dean mentioned is.." it wa sher turn to be interuppted by Genius Dean
"Ripe with EMV radiation as well, a starbug's sheilding could just about protct anything inside it from it, but the minute a hologram, or any artifical lifeform such as Elwood stepped outside their electronics would be fried, and thier software irrecoverable"
"So you see Phil" said Jay "It's a lost cause, back at the academy we spent  three months of my astro-navigation course on what to avoid in space, three weeks alone were on this system!, no-ones found a way to safely land and survive more than a few seconds there"
"The bug's clearly have" said Phil "We need to work out how they did it"
"Perhaps.." said Dean "The DNA modification device could be of assistance here....."

"Well, the last few days have been intresting to say the least. Alota has woken up, was attacked by zombies and then turned into a Snufigiraffe and then into a 90 year old version of her self then turned back to normal by my good wife...Jay seems to be carrying a bag about these days...When I asked him why he said "Never you mind...I'll get him one day..."..Mind you after he find out his wife was back with us he seemed more jolly...I'll make sure not to tell her about his Bender escapeds in AR...Speaking of which, the data Cannon provided has allready payed off. We have found some items that the Hym have been using for various reasons. Dr.Keto and Cerebrum have been out "salvaging"..the majority of the equipment that they found is good stuff, but the prize is the DNA machine. It even made Dean smart..well, he can speak german..I've manged to study it a little bit and have determined, with help from Cannon , that there is some new version of the Hym stored in the database...if any of these were to get "made"...then we are trulley in trouble...I've also formally resinged my post as cpatain, now that Alota is with us. Still staying on as XO....Now my main problem is making sure that no-one gets their hands on the DNA manipulator...God know what this crew will make from it...Knowing them Beer out of anything else really...have to make sure the midget doesnt figure out how to use it either. Will have to get the machine from the where it is to my shuttle. Would enlist the help of Dava Cannazza but he's being held prisoner after being accused of bad pirates impression. Mind you , I did find out where MP's pants ended up...
