"Go and jump out an air lock." Tara said before walking into the cockpit.
"How's it going John?" She cast an eye over the pilot and his friend, unsure whether Keto would kill her for a) asuming her job back without permission and b) alowing a stranger to fly the medi-shuttle. She slumped into a chair next to a desk that had been set up for Keto to use when he was aboard and flicked thorugh some of his 'top secret confidential notes' Which was mostly scribllings about hating Cerebrum. A sudden loud beeping got her attention.
"What?..." she muttered, and clicked open the patient staus window on Ketos PC.
"Alota?..what's.." Confused she stood and walked over to Alota's bed carrying a medi-scanner.
 "Tree..." she said to the plant "Find out where Jay is....."
Alota felt herself floating, floating floating, sinking sinking sinking well doing something that made her want to hurl. She opened her eyes then shut them as she saw stars and bright light! Blinking repeatedly she looked around,
"Jay?" she asked softly before realising that he wasn't there, then also realising that this wasn't the medi-bay, sitting up she had Tara in her face, giving her a tough check over, standing up she looked around, it seemed as though she was incredibly awwed at everything, she finished her look around walked to the front of the bug carefully and said
"What in craps name has been going on" it was a sharp saying wondering why the hell she was on a bug instead of in the Blue Dwarf medical bay. Shaking her head she shouted
"Patch me through to White Wolf" she ordered
Wall Eyes looked surprised..had his enar miss with an asteroid..or rather a splodge on the radar woken Alota?! Would Jay give him a raise for it?! Would he ever find his missing left shoe?!
"Well?" said Alota
"Patch me thorugh!"
"Sorry. commander..."
 Wall eyes said "But..White Wolf's not been seen sinc ehe and Lt Thomas went to the surface of the hymenoptera homeworld..there are fears that he's..dead.."
 
"Well patch me through to replacement second in command, tell him Alota's back in town and she's back to run the show" she say defyingly then in a quiet voice "Meanwhile i'm going to lie down i have a huge headache"
"..Lets see" said Wall Eyes,
"Mr Fe Buggure is currently unreachable..."
"Fine..well patch me through to whoever's next in command!"
"Um..Lt Cmdr Chrysler's also unreachable.." Alota looked disappointed she'd hoped to speak to her husband,
"Fine.." she muttered, getting annoyed "Who's next?"
"Dean Thomas is currently coordinatiing the fleet Ma'am.."
"Your joking" Alota said
"no ma'am"
"This is the Dean Thomas who crashes everything, the dean thomas who has nearly killed me several times by hurtling space bugs towards the drive room, the same thomas who i'd liked to slap with a wet kipper then by him a drink as an apology"
"Er...I guess so ma'am"
"Then patch me through!"
