Ok everyone =)... it's been 12 days after Valentines and you all must be tickling to know our winners for the 2003 "I Fancy You" Valentines Day event! It's taken a bit longer than expected to deliberate, tally, exchange scores and comments, but we're finally able to announce those submissions that really knocked it off and have displayed excellent role playing skills. Please also remember that with these wonderful simmers, we also have the greatest sims... so be sure to check out http://fsgsims.com and join the adventure today! =) But anyway I'm starting to babble.. so let's get right down to it :)
Our winners for Fantasy's "I Fancy You" Valentines Expedition 2003!
A drum roll.. please? ::drum rolls in the background::
For THIRD place..we had a TIE! =) For these submissions... we felt the writing was exceptionally passionate, exciting and inviting..bringing out the sensual connection between two characters with undying love. A compelling romantic theme and the writing was thoughtful and quite insightful.
::pausing, watching the crew watch her intently for the announcement::
Our tie winners.. go to the sims HIDDEN AGENDA and USS ATHENS! ::tremendous clapping:: =) Who are both TIED FOR THIRD!!! Hidden Agenda's entry was composed by Alexis Corrigan aka our very own First Brin! The USS Athens entry was composed by Wynter, aka Fleet Admiral Reka Takar! CONGRATULATIONS to BOTH sims! You and your crew should be proud and honored! Please keep them a big round of an applause!! ::clapping wildly::
::yelling, screaming, whistling in the background::
Moving to second place... we thought this submission was satricial, insanely funny, and this post teased and poked at the theme of Valentines. =) While keeping it very realistic, it also had the scent of creativity that pulled this one over.
the sim that won second place... ::drum roll:.... the JMC BLUE DWARF!!! CONGRATS! BEN NETTLESHIP composed this submission and we thought it was truly wonderful! The JMC Blue Dwarf is one of Fantasy's finest play-by-email simulations and is managed by the fair Onion Ball. =) Again, congratulations to the JMC Blue Dwarf!! We send much glory and honor to you Ben Nettleship and the rest of the Blue Dwarf crew!
::smiling from ear to ear:: Ok.. ok.. let's get moving.. please..
Alright everyone.. ladies and gentlemen, Klingons and Romulans, it's that time for the winners. For our FIRST PLACE..we thought this submission really pulled it off. The large base of members really put together their energy to make this submission an absolute success. We thought it was very creative.. and well done. It explored the variances of love, friendship and how two people can have the undying love for one another. It was excellent in the portrayal of the theme and it all tied in quite nicely. ::keeping a gleam in her eyes::
This sim really heats up for Saturday Night Fever.. ladies and gentlemen, the USS AURORA!!!! ::yelling, kicking and screaming:: CONGRATULATIONS to the AURORA CREW! The Aurora is commanded by Fleet Admiral Aeriel Cullom-Peers and Commander John Aaron! Much love for the crew of the Aurora.. they did an awesome job and the credit must go to them!!!
With that.. we'd like to thank ALL our winners once more and everyone that participated. We all deserved it! =) I just want to stress that our mission is to promote simming in all directions in our group. Please get involved and earn the fame and fortune you desire!
