The Christening of the Mysterious new ship

Blue Dwarf Engineering 'Vehicles' Wing
 
Kayn was wearing his lime green tuxedo from the funeral two hours before. He had just radioed out the message for everyone to get to the Engineering wing. In the space of two hours he had mistaken Johnson's favorite ice-cream for strawberry, swallowed a drink of vimto before remembering it was an aphrodisiac concoction and smashed his head whilst playing a game of chess with the skutters
 
He'd also opened his christmas presents a day early. He had a new Playstation 3 with Time Crisis Trilogy, and a new DVD Titanic movie which was roasting away on the fire in his quarters. He had a few christmas cards - one was from James Johnson and Jimmy Johnson (don't ask how the other Johnson wrote a christmas card in torture) which were both tinky-winky teletubbie cards (which joined the Titanic DVD). One was from Harris reminding him of the ammount of space corp directives he broke - particularily the 'caffene-breathaliser test' he had failed. The final one was from Steev, which was sent with a 'lucky' spanner.
 
He had one more present to open...and he smiled at the thought
 
11:30 Hours
Present at the meeting are
 - Commander Nipels
 - Captain Cannon
 - White Wolf
 - James Johnson
 - Steev
 - Jason Smegg
 - Harris
 - Efof
And anyone else that bothers to tag along
 
Nipels was growing impatient. He knew nobody else was going to turn up, and Kayn had been stalling for fifteen minutes. Cannon was still in the psychadelic hawaiian shirt and was snoring loudly. Finally, Kayn got onto the podium and coughed down the microphone
"Yeah, erm, thanks for coming here you lot. Especially on short notice like this..."
Harris shouted obsenities at Kayn, basically telling him to get on with it
 
"OK...without further ado....I am going to show you the new ship that will protect the Blue Dwarf in future missions. The K909 Valkyrie class fighter..."
 
Kayn cut the ribbon infront of him, which unveiled the Valkyrie.
 
The gathering were in stunned silence at the new white ship.
