9.00 AM - Woke up, with wife and unwrapped presents. Ooh ... socks ...
My wife then informed me that Keiran Loes, Sam Young, Maudlin "Death-wish"
Palmer-Smythe and Penny Lloyd had sadly passed away. I told her that at
10.00 AM I'd offer my condolenses with some plastic flowers and a 'Sadly
Missed' card.

I met Commander Niples and apologised about not attending the funeral. I
gave the flowers in which he then said to me,
"It's not as if me wife died!" He then said how the Captain was
reading a McKenzie's Catalogue instead of the Eulogy. I nervously
laughed just like he did. I was also sweating like a pig. As I had
nothing to say I said goodbye and was about to walk away when Nurse
Coffey hurried along with Joshua Ventrite wheeling someone to the
medical section - good god! It's my wife!!! Aww don't tell me!! SHE'S
PREGNANT!! I screamed and ran like a maniac to my quarters. Then Dr.
Keto passed me muttering ,
"Maybe *he* needs the ointment!"

1.00 PM - Got to my quarters only to be calmed down by being notified
that she wasn't pregnant but had mild food poisoning. >PHEW!<
