A simultaneous plan

Cerebrum didn't hear the announcement, as he had been split into five copies and sent to different landing bays in the Blue Dwarf at different periods of time.
 
He pulled out his components he had gathered, a psychiatric manual and a tool kit, and proceded to modify his meson cannon, in each time periodm into a temporal four dimensional hook cannon. Most of his replacements involved liberal use of the handyman's secret weapon, duct tape.
 
In each of the time eras, he stepped back, and punched a few buttons, targeting the meson cannon at a black hole that had formed outside the ship when a temporal shift dumped all of the junk mail received in the last week into one location. "That oughta solve the problem. Of course, I wouldn't be around near here if someone should start a temporal anomaly involving a white hole powered time drive, as the chronoton projector I put in will prevent the changes I made to cannon from being erased. Ah well, what're the odds of that happening."

Cerebrum reappeared, combined back into one body, in front of Cain, holding an egg. "You were looking for this?" he asked. "So, I've set up a psychiatric sequence that should solve the time problems. Now, let's get to this HQ of yours, shall we?"
