Whooops....

2hrs after the mysterious explosion.
The brig.
"You've REALLY done it this time, Jarvis!" bellowed the burly
Commander Schneider. "Do you know how LONG it's going to clean up
the mess YOU'VE created?!? Plus the entire science department is
COMPLETELY wrecked, only 2 MONTHS after it's been REFURBISHED!!"
Zack wondered to himself why the commander's voice kept going up and
down. It wasn't as if it was his fault. He absolutely HAD to get
some more iron fillings, and he'd told one of the lab-assistant
skutters to watch the boiling mixture. Unfortunately, that was
exactly what the skutter had done. Watch it. Watch it as it bpoiled
over, knocking over a nearby flask, which burnt through the desk into
another beaker of chemicals... Well, to cut a long story short, it
was going to take the scutters about 4 weeks to clear out the 400 odd
cubic metres of green goo that was now filling the chemistry
department, and some of the other departments. Luckily, most ppl
were on their lunchbreak, and only two people had needed any medical
treatment at all. But it wasn't as if it was his fault.
"Which docked ship is leaving soonest, Lieutenant" asked Commander
Schneider out of the corner of his mouth. "That would be Blue Dwarf,
a deep space mining ship. They're only here for new supplies and
shore-leave" replied the junior officer after consulting her
clipboard.
"Where's it going?" enquired Schneider. "They're currently on a
rescue mission to find the missing Red Dwarf mining vessel, so
they'll be in deep space for quite a while."
"Excellent! Transfer him to that junk heap. Effective immediately.
And get this idiot out of my brig." growled the commander as he
strode out of the brig.
"Well, that went better than it did last time" thought Zack as he
went to get his personal belongings.
