The sleek SpaceEagle flew into the Blue Dwarf through one of the hanger hatches. Niples landed the Eagle next to a long line of Starbugs and put the handbreak on.
 
Efof and he got out and the alien headed immediately up to the Drive room before anything more could be said, there should always be someone at helm, and as the two other pilots were apparently locked up in some "Big Brother" house, it was Efof's duty to be there.
 
The Captain had expected a bit of a better welcome, maybe a few banners, people waving flags, well-endowed cheerleaders wouldn't have gone amis. But he got nothing.
As he walked thoirough the ship it turned out that everyone was watching this Big Brother reality-TV show. People in Parrotts were transfixed to the small monitors poitioned around the corners of the room, and they were even watching it live in the Drive-room.
 
***Drive-Room***
Niples saw Efof sitting in the pilots seat trying to look like he'd been there forever. Niples asked Allie where acting-captain Whitewolf and Second in command Harris were, she told him that Whitewolf had only just returned from the planet below and that Harris had gone a bit mad and was now refusing to have any job title with the word "Command" in the title.
 
Niples told Allie that he wanted to speak to Whitewolf, to sort out becoming captain again and taking control of the ship. Although the state of confusion that the ship was in at the moment, it would take nothing less than a short one-legged monkey with an inner-ear infection to take command of the ship. Half of the crew wouldn't even notice, they were so entranced by Big Brother.
 
There was one good thing going for Big Brother though, it had a gorgeous girl called Katrina in it.
 
***Behind Parrotts bar, in the small room next to the Big Brother house***
Due to all of the cameras being automated, there were no cameramen needed for this Bog Brother show, but there were still 2-way mirrors so that the cameras could spy one the housemates without the housemates seeing the huge chunky cameras.
 
Seymour stood looking into the Big Brother house through this camera. "Oh Katrina, how I have missed you." he said softly as Katrina looked at the mirror, unaware he was even there. She was checking her hair.
"Beautiful as always." Niples said, hoping she could hear him, or at least know that he was waiting for her.
"I have a bottle of wine reserved especially for you my swete, it's a good year so I hope you can appreciate fine wine. We'll drink it to celebrate being together again, I know a great place down on deck 49 which might not look much, but with the lights dulled it can be very romantic."
 
Of course Katrina didn't know he was there, and he watched her squeese a spot in the mirror. She wiped the projected remains of the blemish off of the mirror and rejoined the other housemates. Keto seemed to be moaning as usual.

Efof didn't like the Big Brother competition, it was boring, he hated reality TV shows.... in fact he hated reality, sure his "old" reality was fine a hundred years ago on Ffion, then he came here and experienced such more, sex, drugs, rock and roll, even sausage rolls. He decided reality was a bit shitty and due to his morbid sense of humour wanted to play a trick on the BB housemates.
 
He drilled a small catflap into the wall of the Big Brother house and drove a small remote control car through with a big alarm clock strapped to it. It also had a tape recorder strapped to the back of the clock which repeated on continuos loop the words "I am a bomb."
 
Just at the last moment, he heard a small squeek behind him.
"SQUEEK"
"Hello Bobo, do you want to go for a ride?"
"SQUEEK?" said the ex-captain's pet mouse.
"Okay then, jump aboard and hold on tight." Efof grinned evilly and pushed FORWARD on the remote control buggy controlls. He hoped the girls in the house were scared of mice.

"Good lord, what has that hamster done to my office?" said Niples, expecting tons of paperwork to be arranged into some sort of nest, but absolutely nothing seemed to have changed of to have moved. Whitewolf obviously hadn't spent much time there, he didn't seem to have spent much time on the ship at all.
 
COMM "Niples to Whitewolf, I'm back onboard. Can we speak please?"
