Mission complete! Happy happy hap...*THUNK*

Donover arrived at the KP deck to find Lloyd and the man, clearly from the
engineering department, the barman had described as a greaseball lying on
the mountain of potatoes.

Steev heard what sounded like the door opening, and someone walking in.
Maybe he had an aspirin...
"D'you have an aspirin?" Steev offered.
"What?" came the reply.
Steev realised that his jaw had started working of its own accord, and he
had half a potato wedged in his jaw. Gingerly he spat out the potato and
lifted his head.
"D'you...have an aspirin?" He tried again.
"Firstly, why are you and Lloyd in the KP deck?" was the demand.
Steev was passed caring now. He had decided to be bothered by the headache
again, and now just wanted it to go away so he could die in peace.
"Why certainly, I'll tell you...NO I SMEGGING WELL WON'T!!! JUST GIMME AN
ASPIRIN BEFORE I BREATHE ON YOU!!!"
The man recoiled at this verbal assault from the lump of grease on the
potatoes. "OK, OK!"
Aspirin later, Steev had moved into a sitting position. "So who are you?"
"Donover, Security."
Steev recalled the little incident in the Captain's cupboard. The panic
started to rise. "He was going to get me wasn't he?" he thought furiously.
"For my little mistake I'm going to be hauled in front of the crew and have
my name SPELLED OUT, differing cases and all!!! For sleeping in a sodding
CUPBOARD? A cupboard that just HAPPENED to be a Captain's???? NOOOO!!!"
With unearthly speed Steev launched himself off the potatoes and ran
screaming out of the room to a safe place...
or that was the theory at least.
Steev did indeed get up and start running. Unfortunately he beaned himself
on the door frame and collapsed unconscious in a heap.
"Nutter" said Donover, while Lloyd groaned again and sank further into the
potatoes.
<I think it's time for some medical attention...is there a doctor in the
house? :-) >
