Plisken The White was regarding his angelic comrade with shrewd interest. "Tenderness and kindness are not signs of weakness and despair, but manifestations of strength and resolution..." he muttered. An angel-creature could be a powerful ally indeed...
Treguard shook his head, he'd been almost falling under The Angel's influence, himself. He cleared his throat.
"Your very touch will bring about joy," he informed the white-wing "and to gaze into your eyes, one will no longer encounter hurt, guilt, and mistrust, but will see the goodness within, and will themselves be overcome with a sense of deep, loving, peace."
The Angel nodded, humble, gracious.
I am fortified.
"Failing that, you can slice your enemies' heads off with your boomerang halo."
The Angel looked at the circular glowing weapon that hung from his sarong.
"I thank you for the information brother Dungeon Master, but I hope to avoid violence unless absolutely necessary."
"Just like real life" the previously irritating computer interjected, a touch of smug evident to everyone but The Angel who heard only earnest tones. "I did a very good job on you."
Al dipped his head politely in the direction he imagined the computer's being existed.
"That you did, fair programme, that you did."
Tregard tried not to run his eyes over Alex's wings too much, in case it seemed rude. "You also have super strength," he informed him "... Oh, and you can fly."
Alex nodded again. "Of course."

Artemis didn't notice Alex's transformation. "Mr. Treaguard shouldn't Lanky Locks have finished his transformation by now?" said the Ubermensch. "Uh....he has, he's right behind you" Treaguard said, pointing to the angel. Artemis turned and saw nothing except Jade get knocked into the vat. "Well that was overly dramatic" Artemis commented. "Brother Artemis, can you not see me?" asked the Angel. "Uh....what? Is that you Lanky Locks?" "Yes, why is it that you do not see me?" "Are you invisible?" "The angel, the ethereal being standing right in front of you!" The now mutated Jade yelled. Artemis gawked at Jade. "Waht?" He said, sounding just like the professor from Futurama. "The angel? Hah! No such things exist Dr. Black!" Treaguard stood between the angel and the Ubermensch. "It all makes sense now, he can't see the angel because he doesn't believe in ethereal beings!" Treaguard proclaimed. "I am a man of science Mr. Treaguard! I have no desire to ask some bearded fellow for guidance when I can recklessly make all my decisions on my own! Besides, we all know that Jay was Jesus and that the "God" who performed all those miracles on Phobos was a crazed Guild of Science intern who was contaminated with the luck virus! Heh, we lost a lot of interns to contamination" Jay took a look at the two of them. "The Pinnacle of Science, and The Pinnacle of Faith, ying and yang" said Jay. Treaguard nodded, "It's too bad they're both psychotic outside of the simulation" he said.
Jade and Jacky looked on as the other Dwarfers took their turns in the vat. Artemis stood facing the vat trying to talk to Alex, who was standing beside him. "The Pinnacles of Science and Faith" said Jacky. "It's a shame that Artemis can't see Alex, if we was to ubercharge Alex during that boss battle...." Jade had an idea. "Wait, you're right! Artemis is supposed to be the apex of mortal human evolution, and Alex is the apex of human spiritual evolution. If we were to combine those powers than we would have an unstoppable weapon!" Jade milled it over in her head. "But that's where the problem lies, getting Artemis to believe in god" "What if we got Jay to dress up as Jesus?" "No, he respects Jay as his commander, but I doubt he'd ever respect him as a spiritual figure, especially since he knows he isn't the actual son of god. No, we need to find a way to convince him to believe. Maybe Alex could perform some sort of miracle" "What could he for the Ubermensch that hasn't already been done?" "He's only the Ubermensch in the game, but he's still an insecure sociopath in real life...."

After everyone had their upgrade Treguard said, “Well I guess your ready for the last mission. So we may as well pull out all the stops before we send you on your way.” Tregard then summoned a older charismatic man in a red suit with a black shirt who stood before them. The mad looked in his late forties with white skin, white hair and a strong build. The man reached into his jacket and pulled out a pair of red leather gloves as he looked over the crew. Tregard then said, “Allow me to introduce my colleague Mr. D. He will lead you all from here on.” Then Mr. D nodded at Tregard as he began to pace back and forth as he put on his gloves and looked at the crew.
Mr. D then looked at Artemis and said, “Who are you not to be great?” (Mr. D Points to Gummy Jaxx & Silky Eve) You with the imagination of a brilliant child and the powers of an ancient god. (Mr. D Points to Alex) Who are you to be ordinary? You who can transcend life or raise the dead. (Mr. D Points to Jade) Who are you to be afraid? You who can serve as judge and jury while hording infinite lives. (Mr. D Points to Jay) Who are you to be a slave to the past? You who can travel time like the oceans and rewrite history with a single word. (Mr. D Points to Plisken) Who are you to be anonymous? You whose name should be spoken in reverent tones or terrified whispers. (Mr. D Points to Jacky) Who are you to deny greatness? If you deny it to yourself you deny it to the whole world and we will not be denied. (Mr. D looks around) Now prepare yourselves for you are about to endure the fight of your lives.”
The crew looked at Mr. D as if he was not in his right mind. Mr. D then said, “Follow me and mark your name in history.” Mr. D then opened a wooden door to reveal a huge battle going on outside as hundreds of characters from various video-games and history vids were fighting in an epic battle. Mr. D then yelled, “Onward to victory!” as he charged into the battle. Along the way, Mr. D. punched a zombie so hard it flew fifty feet away. Some of the crew was in shock by the battle out the door as they hesitated to move. Then Gummy Jaxx said, “Oh well I’m not gonna like pass if I don’t get moving.” Silky Eve then wrapped her arms around Gummy Jaxx and said, “How about we do some recon first to find the head bad guy first.” Gummy Jaxx blushed and nodded as he felt Silky Eve’s embrace. Suddenly Silky Eve’s mech armor began forming from hard light holo tech and created a heavily armed flying mech around her. Then Silky Eve picked up Jaxx and ran out the door as her jets blasted her into the sky as she held Gummy Jaxx. It didn’t take long before some flying dinosaurs with cave men riders began chasing them.

Artemis charged into the fray, shrugging off damage and supercharging his teammates as they searched for the final boss. Meanwhile, Jade tried to think of a miracle for Alex to perform....
