Ultimatum

High in orbit, the massive imperial super carrier Blue Dwarf descended into geosynchronous orbit over the badlands. Captain Arterius sat at the helm, waiting patiently for the call. "Captain, priority one call coming over the quantum entanglement array" a drone announced. "Patch it through" the captain said in his deep intimidating voice. He stood and adjusted his uniform. Artemis (in hologram form) appeared ahead of him. "Supreme Regent, sir" Arterius saluted. "At ease captain. What are you orders according to the General?" "Establish orbit and prepare to deploy orbital reinforcements" "Not any longer. You are now to deploy all forces to my position in preparation for Operation Arrowhead. Once deployment and recovery is complete prepare for phase one, and move the ship into firing position. I will deliver the firing coordinates once our mole reports in" "Yes sir, anything else?" "Monitor all incoming communications to the planet, something is wrong here" "Yes sir...."

Waves of transports descended from the belly of the colossal ship towards the planet. The ship itself aimed the manga pulse cannon (what would be the ram scoop on the original ship) at the badlands.

"You. Who are you? How do you know me?" She stalked over to the bars of the cage the boy was in and glared at him. Holding back a wave of psychic force that would crush the life out of all in the room.

A marine ran into the room, Jade glared at him. "What?" She snapped. "Ma'm, incoming transmission from the Terran empire!" Jade turned back to the prisoners, then to the marine. "Show it to me" Artemis was displayed on a screen. "Hello dissidents, this is Supreme Regent Artemis K. Pritchard VI. I understand that you have some desire to interfere with my plans once more, especially you miss Black and former Admiral Chrysler. I'm afraid I cannot allow that" Artemis lead the camera to a balcony that was overlooking the capital wasteland, more importantly, the citadel. In front of Artemis was a comms officer who was barking orders into a handset while scouting out the citadel with binoculars. The sky turned red. "No...No," Jay shouted. A red laser shot out of the sky and struck the citadel. When the smoke cleared, nothing was left but a crater. "I know where you are miss Black, and I have a proposition. Surrender the exiles and I will not only spare your base, but I will also recall my army. You have one hour. Just before the video cut out, the Dwarfers could see Treaguard, dressed in an officers uniform, laughing off to the side. Jade looked at the exiles.....

"The "Regent" has the Keystone, but he's preoccupied. If we can hold the keystone at bay for a little while longer our plan will be complete!" Said Treaguard to his master. "Good, ensure that there is enough of distraction to prevent their success. Of the keystone reaches high temple our plans are finished" The master replied

Meanwhile, The Missus frantically searched for something that would snap Artemis and the others out of their trance. She scoured the media library until she came across a video.....
