My New Power Sucks
<Snip>
The crew was shocked to see the Succubae and Incubi looking like beautiful men and women with small horns and fangs dressed in gothic clothing. Instead of attacking the crew members the Succubae and Incubi began pampering them with love, manicures, pedicures, neck rubs, lap dances, food, drink, and drugs. The Succubae and Incubi began charming the crew members with their hearts desires.

As Jade was slowly eased from the cage by the soft loving hands of several Incubi she sighed. Their touch was like that of the first night of passion combined with a gentle caress of years of familiarity. They had dark eyes, chocolate brown, hazelnut, coffee, hair a myriad of shades of straw, pine, bark and oak. They were guiding her away, seperating her from the group, but she didn't care as their every touch seemed to fill her with relief and joy.
"Drink. You must be thirsty." They offered her some sweet honied wine. She had a brief mental twinge as the Incubi lapsed and none of them were touching her. She thought of Alex, her drunken rant and the pain twinged on her heart.
"Sssh..." Another said, easing into a position next to her. His eyes changed from brown to a blue-green. "We can be whatever you need." He pressed his lips against hers, the tips of his fangs brushing her lower lip. She closed her eyes against the images.
"No... No... Not him." She said through muffled kisses. Opening her eyes again and the Incubi were back to their tall dark and hansome, statuesque appearence. "Ah... Much better." She said, relaxing into the pleasureable sensations.
Time seemed to slip and ebb as the Incubi worked their special magic on the crew. Who knew how much time passed as they were subjected to pleasures and gifts that their dreams could only hope for. As one of them leaned in to kiss her neck she inhaled sharply as his fangs pierced her neck. Swiftly though it became one of the nicest feelings she had ever felt. Having drunk from her, they gained a better understanding of her deepest wants and desires. The crowd of Incubi parted and a teenage boy appeared, no more than 17 years old.
"Hi." He said, rather shyly.
"You every desire granted. Nothing is beyond us." One of them softly spoke into Jade's ear.
"What? Who...?" She said, adjusting her skirts to be more presentable.
"Don't you recognise me Mum?" The boy asked, a quizzical expression on his face.
"I... Oliver?" She asked incredulously. "You died, you died when you were two weeks old."
"It's not real Jade..." Treguard's voice was distant in her mind, she pushed it asside and stood up, walking over to the boy.
"I can't believe it's you. You can't be here...." She gently placed a hand on his face, checking to see if he was real. All she had ever dreamed of was stood infront of her, her wildest dreams come true. They had nailed it down to a T.
"You can't fell for this Jade. Remember when you burried him. Remember your past and do not fall for their trickery or you will be stuck here forever. Use your new powers, harness all of the grief inside you. Harness the stress and betrayal, unlock that dark door in your mind and fill them with the despair that you lock away." Treguard whispered to her.
Her mind faltered as her hand fell to her side. Without any of them touching her, their magic wavered and she remembered the dark day, sat in the wheelchair with the drips attached to her arms. The drizzle and the tiny coffin. Treguard's words echoed in her mind and she felt herself slipping into the dark place. Her own mind beginning to close the shutters and let it all out.
"Use it. Harness it and unleash it on the monsters" Treguard urged.
Jade opened the door. The door that she had been keeping closed so long and let the feelings pour out. The door slammed shut on her lock box and refused to open as if only one could be opened at a time. Either she could hide away, or else it would all pour out of her. Unprotected and unbidden the emotion washed out of her in a vile wave across the room she had been taken into.

Evelina's protective flame wall died down a shortly after Alex's attack to reveal Evelina and Jaxx still hugging. Jaxx looked at Evelina and said, "It totally looks like Alex dude beefed up to Eve babe." Evelina nodded as she said, "Wow that was a weird power. I wonder what power you will get?" Jaxx shrugged as he said, "Who knows Eve babe. I hope its totally useful through. It would totally be my luck that its flower pruning or something like that."

Jade stumbled out of the side room, her eyes raw from tears. A wave of pure sorrow followed her out of the room washing over the Dwarfers and breaking against the remaining demons. She faltered again, falling over her feet. The wave built to a peak, the demons wailing and dying, their 'food' poisined by the sour feelings. Jade, exhausted from the unwilling effort, looked to Alex, who until the most recent mesures of time she would have collapsed on. The wave of magic ended and Jade fell forwards onto the dance floor.
