A Dawg named Zod

Jaxx and Evelina were slightly confused by the Vox Dawg as they realized it only wanted food. Jaxx approached the Vox Dawg and pulled out a chocolate bar and offered it to the Vox Dawg. The Vox Dawg sniffed Jaxx's hand and then ate the candy in his hand. Evelina said, "Looks like he has a thing for sweets." Jaxx replied, "Can we keep him Eve babe?" Evelina answered, "As long as he behaves. But we need to figure out where we are?" After looking around Evelina realized something about where they were. Evelina said, "Jaxx turn on your light. I think we are at an old amusement park." Jaxx said, "A what Eve babe? Evelina said, "A place for people to have fun Jaxx, but this one is old and seems to be abandoned."

Jaxx began playing with the Vox Dawg as Evelina was looking around nearby. Evelina said, “Looks like this place hasn’t been used in a long time. You keep playing with him like that Jaxx and he is going to follow you home.” Jaxx laughed as he said, “Do you think the others will let me keep him?” Evelina looked back at Jaxx and said, “Maybe since we did find this place. However, I hope they can find this place. I mean if they couldn’t follow the flares they might not find this place.” Then Evelina found a long broken pipe that was way too heavy for her. Evelina said, “Hey Jaxx can you help me pick up this pipe.” Jaxx got up and said, “Sure Eve babe. What do you want me to do with it?” Evelina replied, “I was hoping to see if we can stick it out of that tree illusion so the others could see it.” Jaxx smiled and said, “Wow Eve babe your smart, but how are they see it if its dark?” Evelina thought for a second and then pulled out another glow stick from her pack and activated it before tying it to the end of the pipe. Then Evelina said, “That should do it.” Then Jaxx cocked his head and said, “Most excellent Eve babe.”

Then Evelina guided Jaxx to the area they came from so he could stick the pipe through the portal. Then Jaxx slowly set the pipe in the corner of the walkway to avoid a trip hazard. Then Jaxx saw the Vox Dawg waiting for more playtime. Jaxx laughed as he said, “Well if you’re gonna hang with us, your totally gonna need a righteous name.” Then Jaxx rubbed his chin as he thought, “Hmmmmmmmmm………..How about Rex?” The Vox Dawg gave Jaxx a funny face. Jaxx then said, “Rover?” The Vox Dawg barked. Jaxx then said, “Sparky?” The Vox Dawg growled. Jaxx then said, “Ca’Lel?” The Vox Dawg barked angry. Then Evelina said, “While your at it why not call him Zod.” The Vox Dawg perked up and panted. Jaxx smiled and said, “I think he likes that. Well boy your new name is Zod.”

Evelina giggled as she said, “I guess we have a pet now.” Then Evelina began to play with Zod along with Jaxx as they waited for the others to find them.
