Last Minute Run

"Did you hear that?" Jade asked, looking up for the lightening, squinting against the rain.

"Maybe it's just thunder?" Cass looked over to the two dinosaurs, neither had moved, but both were now acting nervous, their heads swinging about and tails whipping left and right.

There was another, louder rumble and the ground tremored slightly. Jade looked down at the tin cup of water next to Cass. The ripples in it were obvious and not because of the rain.

"LETS HUSSLE IT UP HERE PEOPLE!" WhiteWolf cried, powering through the undergrowth and nimbly scampering up the back of the dinosaur tail.

Jaxx looked at the ground and then at Evelina before he sighed. "Gimmie a minute Eve babe, "said Jaxx as he walked to Alex. Jaxx tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Yo Alex bro. I was thinking and I think it's best if I go get the robot dude and meet ya at the shuttle and stuff." Alex looked at Jaxx with a shocked face as he asked "Why would you do that?" Jaxx responded, "Well I was hoping to say later to my bro Franky before we bailed this planet." Alex wasn't sure what to say. Then Jaxx spoke up, "Don't worry bro Franky can help me get back since he can read minds and all. He's pretty smart and stuff"

Before Alex had a chance to speak, Evelina said, "Don't worry about Jaxx I'll keep him out of trouble and I'll pick up the Bee for your holographic friend if you tell me where it is." Alex thought for a second and then drew a picture on the ground to show where the camp was and where the wreckage that contained Justin's Bee. Evelina stared at the picture for a moment and then said, "I got it.Thanks."

Then Jaxx and Evelina set off in the direction of the lake by their camp.
