Rebirth

Jaxx was still having twisted nightmares as his body was overheating. His sunburn was now at a second-degree level. His glowing red skin was covered in sun blisters and crust from the baked green slime and sweat. Jaxx was restless as his nightmare continued.

(Nightmare)
Jaxx was lying helpless on a table alone and unable to move. He heard voices around him but saw no one. From what he saw the world was odd in design. He could see giant grandfather clocks that were also trees. The clocks all seem to have different times and some seem to be running backwards. Eventually the voices got closer and closer till Jaxx could make them out. The strange people were oddly dressed. On the right was a man (Jay) was wearing a suit from the Victorian times and a large top hat as he sipped his tea. Next to the man was a woman (Molly) was wearing a baby blue formal dress as she listened to the rules of etiquette from the Top Hat man. Across the table was a pink and purple-stripped cat with a human face (Garth), a brown rabbit man (Alex), and a small fluffy rodent (Whitewolf). The Top Hat man was instructing the young female in the proper way to have tea, which was creatively different every time he explained it.

Suddenly a loud trumpet interrupted everyone as a small white rabbit (Seymour) with royal attire approached to announce the Queen (Cass) who approached followed by her guards (Davie, Plisken, Bedge, Efof, Phil & Jacky) who were in red knight armor, her royal Page Pancake and her food taster (Phi). After the Queen was properly introduced and everyone bowed to her they all sat at the table and the Queen rambled on about how important she was and how lucky everyone was to have her as their Queen. After everyone agreed she ordered the Top Hat man to cut the cake. Jaxx was confused at first, as he saw no cake around him on the table. Jaxx panicked as he saw the Top Hat man begin to cut into him with a large knife. Then Jaxx realized he was the cake and after the food taster sampled the Jaxx cake the rest of the crew feasted on the Jaxx cake with great delight. Jaxx was having a panic attack as he mustered the strength to move his cake body and fall off the table. Jaxx saw the upset party attendees as he clumsily ran away from the forest.

The Queen shouted, “Off with his head.” Then her guards stormed after Jaxx. Jaxx was moving on sheer will power as his body was riddled with pain and heat. After looking over his shoulder Jaxx could see the angry party members still after him as he headed straight for the lake ahead. The water felt so cool on his body that steam came out of the water at first till his body cooled down. Eventually Jaxx jumped into the water and felt relieved from the heat and pain. Jaxx struggled to swim as he still didn’t have complete control over his body. Then as Jaxx was still in his hallucination he felt his body vibrating and oozing. Suddenly blue slime ooze secreted from Jaxx’s skin which mended his wounds and slowly grew into fins and gills. Then the slime dissipated for the last time.

(Awake)
Jaxx began to feel relief from the pain and discomfort as his body began to stabilized once more. Jaxx woke up and looked around to see he was breathing underwater. Jaxx has never felt more at peace since his pain began. Even though he didn’t know who he was or where he was he still enjoyed the feeling of the water. Jaxx took the time to explore the under water. There were lots of odd-looking creatures in the water and lots of delicious looking plants that Jaxx sampled along the way till he was full. Eventually Jaxx found a few odd looking metal shelters (crashed ships) and explored them. Some were filled with old skeletons and useless junk. Eventually Jaxx found nice pair of black sunglasses still in the package. The picture on the package showed a man on the beach wearing the sunglasses as the sun was shining in the sky. Jaxx found a few other things that didn’t interest him so he left and found his way toward the shore. Jaxx looked around and saw a fire by a campsite full of people so he decided to check it out.

Jaxx put on his shades and approached the crew as he waved as he said, "Sup peoples. Ummmm............ Sorry to trouble ya but I was wonderin if any of you native dudes and babes could tell me where I am or even who I am? I am a bit out of sorts."
