How to build a Clone Army

Meanwhile elsewhere on the ship….
Jaxx is walking with Cassandra to his lab. Jaxx said, “I can’t believe he shot down my idea so harshly.” Cassandra answered, “Well what did you expect after that joke you made about eating his GELF-Friend.” Jaxx pleaded, “But you gotta admit it was a bit funny. I saw you and Doc Phi giggle.” Cassandra replied, “Be that as it may you were still out of line. Just be thankful I still have use for you.” Jaxx smiled and said, “You sure know how to sweet talk a guy when you want to.” Cassandra gave a smirk as she shook her head and asked, “How much farther till we get to your lab?”

Jaxx looked up and point up one floor as he said, ”Its about there.” Cassandra looked at the wall and asked, “Where is the door?” Jaxx said, “It is hidden. That is why no one ever found me for a long time.” Cassandra looked at Jaxx and his childlike smile as he looked at her. Cassandra asked Jaxx, “So you really spend the last 3 million years in a virtual world memorizing software training & videogames?” Jaxx answered, “Yes ma’am. Of course I wasn’t able to keep track of time while I was in there so I just repeated the courses over and over again.” Cassandra asked, “Did you ever set any records?” Jaxx got giddy as he responded, “Well I mastered all the games on the INSANE levels and I did just score 3 billion on Whack-A-Mole.”

Cassandra giggled a little as she said, “Its hard to believe your still single.” Jaxx responded, “Hey!!!! That was cold Miss Jones. I was bred to fight not date. To be honest I would know what to do if I had to court a female. I don’t even know what I could offer a mate besides protection.” Cassandra smiled at Jaxx and changed the subject as the arrived at the wall Jaxx pointed out.

Cassandra looked at the wall and then at a confused Jaxx then said, “Holly please open the door in front of us.” Suddenly the hidden door slid sideways to reveal the lab. Jaxx responded, “That’s where the handle was. I was in a hurry to save you guys and I forgot to look at the handle when I left.” Cassandra slowly walked into the lab in amazement. This was truly an amazing fully furnished lab that remained untouched like the rest of the Dwarf. After Cassandra and Jaxx entered the lab the door shut behind them. Jaxx was like a kid at school showing his mom where everything was.

Cassandra ignored everything the excited Jaxx rambled on about as she recognized most of the equipment in the room. Cassandra then looked at Jaxx and asked, “And you’re ok with Phi and I using this stuff?” Jaxx smiled and answered, “Sure. I would probably just break everything by accident. Since you and the Doc are the smart ones I think it would be safer if only you two used it. Oh yeah I almost forgot why I came here.”

Then Jaxx went to his locker and pulled out his helmet and some more equipment. Jaxx looked at Cassandra and pointed as he said, “The lab clothes are in that closet.” Cassandra gathered a few lab coats and bio-suits. Then when Jaxx was not looking Cassandra placed a small device on the wall and walked back to Jaxx. Jaxx looked at the helmet and then at Cassandra, “So I guess I will be part of your personal guard then, “asked Jaxx. “Don’t be so mellow dramatic shark-boy. The helmet is only to hide your big scary teeth. And as long as you keep your hunger in check you can easily pass as a high-ranking Marine escort.“

Then Jaxx looked at the other lockers and asked, “So why do you want the other armor suits then?” Cassandra looked at Jaxx and smiled, “I am going to make a fake squad of MACOs similar to the wax droids I met from before. They won’t be ready for combat but can pass for a simple inspection.” Jaxx smiled in awe, “WOW! That is so awesome.” Cassandra then said, “Ok we don’t have much time so strip down and get into your tank.” Jaxx nodded as he began stripping off his armor and undergarments as he mentioned, “You know I just realized I spend a lot of time naked around you and the Doc or is that just a coincidence?” Cassandra bit her lower lip as she admired Jaxx’s prime conditioned body from behind. Then she said, “Don’t flatter your self shark-boy. I just find you useful for now. Now hurry up and get into the tank with your VI helmet on.”

Jaxx did as Cassandra asked and entered the tank with the helmet on as he was told. Then Cassandra began scanning the computers on the desk for all the needed files as she began setting parameters for here experiment. Then Cassandra pulled out a vial and placed it on the desk along with some broken spanners and then used a small dial pad to activate the nano-bots in the vial. The nanos quickly came out of the vial and began rearranging the broken spanners into electronic brains. Cassandra watched the progress as she continued to adjust the software settings she was going to use on the cyber brains.

Hours later Cassandra examined the ten cyber brains before she put them in the growth tanks by Jaxx. Then Cassandra activated the growth sequence on the tanks and monitored as the MACO clones began growing around the cyber brains. Cassandra smiled as she approved her progress. The process was slow but successful by Cassandra’s calculations. Hours later Cassandra woke up at the desk to a beeping console and saw the clones were complete. Cassandra fixed her hair and outfit before examining the clones. Each clone looked exactly like Jaxx with the exception of brown hair. Cassandra smiled as she thought to herself, “Damn I can cook.” Then Cassandra went to the computer console and opened up the window to see Jaxx training the clones in VI. Cassandra launched a series of programs to speed up the training. Then Cassandra walked over and grabbed a cup of instant coffee and a toaster meal from the talking toaster.

After Cassandra finished her breakfast she checked on Jaxx and the others to see the training was ended. Cassandra said, “Its now or never I suppose.” As she activated the release protocols on the clones and Jaxx. Minutes later Jaxx and the clones emerged naked and wet from the tanks. Cassandra smiled as she examined all the subjects in all their glory. Jaxx saluted Cassandra and said, “Master Chief Jaxx reporting for duty ma’am.” Then the Private First Class clones saluted as well and announced themselves as Aaxx, Baxx, Caxx, Daxx, Faxx, Haxx, Maxx, Paxx, Raxx & Zaxx. Cassandra looked at Jaxx and smiled as she said, “Looks like we are successful.”

Cassandra ran a few more test on her clones before putting them back into the stasis tanks and adjusting the security to her liking as Jaxx got dressed. Then Jaxx repacked the lockers for the clones and returned to Cassandra. “Now what Miss Jones?”, asked Jaxx. “Now we let them sit on ice till we need them. I don’t want the others breaking them before we can use them.” Jaxx nodded and then the two left the lab and walked back to the crew to update Jay on her success on making an obedient military squad.

Cassandra looked at Jaxx lugging the equipment and clothes she picked out, as they walked in silence. Cassandra saw Jaxx in a different light for the first time. She realized he had the mind of a child in the body of a killing machine. From a military perspective it was brilliant for making them loyal. Jaxx would go to the ends of the universe to protect his team or complete any mission assigned to him. He was indeed very useful to her and he was easier on the eyes than her robots. Cassandra smirked as she remembered a squad of naked MACOs standing at attention before her.

As the two reached the Canteen Cassandra turned to Jaxx and said, “Jaxx leave all that gear here for now and be a good boy and remove as many Huzzards as you can. We don’t want them around our Hologram Inspector.” Jaxx smiled as he saluted Cassandra with glee, “Yes Ma’am!” Then Jaxx ran off into the poorly lit hallways. Cassandra smiled as she muttered, “Such a luvly pet.” as she entered the Canteen to talk to Phi.
