Jay was feelin pretty lousy, he'd blown everything.
Told the Gelfs the plan, let the starbug get wasted and now he'ed got Joe in
deep smeg. Luckily the serum was wearing off. The gelfs didnt know this yet.
He noticed Penny climbing down from a ceiling hatch
He was still on his knees in front of the leader, hands cuffed behind his
back, blood streaming down his face.
He rolled onto his back, lifted his legs above his chest, and pushed himself
upwards with all he could muster, kicking the Gelf boss with both feet, hard
in the chest, sendin him toppling backwards onto the floor. Jay leapt
backwards as he kicked, and flipped backwards landing on his feet with the
grace of a cat. Penny ran across, cut the chain for the cuffs and gave Jay a
gun. "Lets Blow!" she shouted and they ran for the exit. "Hold on!" said
Chrysler, "Where the hell we gonna go, the bug's wasted!"
"We'll figure that out in a minute., lets just move"
they sprinted out of the doorway, finding themselves in the Gelf vehicle
bay, there were no shuttles, just ground vehicles in this bay,
Jay stopped in front of a ground assault vehicle,
"Penny?..."
"What?" she stopped running and turned to hear what he had to say.
"you reckon you could man the turret on this thing?"
"Whats your point?"
"I've gotta score to settle with these assholes"
With that he climbed into the cockpit and started the engine, Penny climbed
on to it just as he pulled away, and got into the turret.
"Lets get Schweeble and the others out, and get the smeg outta here, use the
turret to blast through doorways, im not saying kill any of the gelfs, but i
figure getting out would be a hell of a lot easier if we're packing heat"
Penny knew he had a point, and blasted the doors of the hangar, they swung
round into the corridor, Gelfs flying left and right to get out of the way,
Penny heard a voice form behind, turning to see where it was coming from she
noticed Joe, calling to her, "Jay hold up a second, it's Joe,"
Jay slammed the brakes on, and the vehicle skidded to a halt, "Hurry Joe!"
shouted Penny, Joe clambered into the vehicle "Joe..." said Jay
"i'm..sorry!...I."
"Jay shut the hell up and drive!"
