Reporting For Duty, SIR!

Unfortunately, Chris Zodar had developed a habit of, well, doing
whatever he damn well wanted.
Which, since boarding Blue Dwarf, wasn't all that much.
The temptation to actually do something was near overwhelming, but,
since the ship was currently on a mission, Zodar made a decision to
consult the propper authorities about being assigned a job.
He tracked down Cmdr. Smegg, and with great enthusiasm yelled
"Reporting for duty, SIR!"
Smegg stepped back, surprised by Zodar's voice, which was maybe a
little louder than it had to be.
Smegg regained himself and calmly delivered a response...
