"To hot, to cold, to happy, to sad."

When: A couple of minuets after Davie began to pull himself down the vent
shaft.
Where: Drive Room
Who: Davie,
Castillo, and her bodyguard, plus who ever the smeg she picked as a command
crew.

Seymour
grabbed the ship-to-ship radio and pressed it to his mouth. "This is
Seymour Niples, please don't shoot us! We've got survivors from the planet. If
you can hear this please help us, Captain Castillo and the rest of the JMC
wants to kill us. If you believe in the Blue Dwarf you have to help us get rid
of her. We don't need the her, and we don't need the JMC."
He paused as he realised what he'd just said. It sounded like they were
declaring war on the entire JMC.
"Niples out."

<Snip>
"I don't know about you, but I'm gonna help those guys
outside."
…
"Alright," began Davie, "now let's split up and try to
get as far away from the landing bay as possible before they get in the vents.
Good luck, see you guys around." said Davie, and the grope split up, heading down
different vent shafts in the zero gravity of the ship.
<End Snip>

            Davie pulled himself
along the vent shaft much quicker than he would with gravity. He came to a vent
grate and peered down it for a moment, seeing the word "Armory" painted in
yellow, big block letters on the floor beneath him.

                                                            *          *          *
            Captain
Castillo sat buckled into her seat in the drive room, watching the mining
missile turned transport evading their cannon fire. Blasts exploded in
seemingly small sparks as the small makeshift craft maneuvered better than
would be expected. She was enjoying watching the small craft try desperately to
avoid in inevitable destruction. "Keep zat up for a few more minuets," she said
to the tactical officer, "zen destroy zem."
            Behind her
the elevator doors pinged loudly, and Davie stepped out quickly, brandishing
two guns that looked like recreations of 20th century MP5 sub
machineguns, one in each hand, and wearing a heavy combat vest loaded down with
pockets. "What's up, smeg heads?!"
he said, and every one snapped their heads around to see the mercenary standing,
magnetized to the floor with his arms outspread, pointing the guns in different
directions. "You!!" shouted the captain. "Yeah me," said Davie, "who'd you expect? King George?"
            "Barry!"
she said to her body guard, and the big man began to twist himself further
towards Davie,
pulling his pistol. "Ah, ah, ah! I would do that if I were you, Quasimodo! See
this vest I'm wearing?" Davie said, nodding down towards the heavily loaded
vest he had on over his exoskeleton, "It's loaded with enough Incinerex to
demolish the entire Drive Room and then some," the body guard stopped, and the
Drive Room crew all stared at Davie, "and it's patched into my suit's vital
signs computer. If my heart rate drops to low: kaboom. To fast: kaboom."
            Captain
Castillo stared at Davie
in amazement, surprised for the second time at the insanity of his actions. He
was either a fearless and brilliant, or brazen and retarded. "What do you
want?" she asked, realizing that if he wanted only to kill them, he could have
done it already. "I want you to stop firing at that ship and to let them dock."
said Davie.
"Why?" she asked creeping her hand slowly towards the silent security alarm in
her arm rest. Captain, I—you can very well keep your hand away from that
button!" Davie
said Raising his voice, "Everyone keep their hands where I can see them!
Captain, how high do you think my heart rate is going to jump if a squad of
armed security personnel start shooting at me?" he said, and the Captain pulled
her hand away from the consol. "Now captain, let them in before I get angry and
my heart gets a little jumpy." He said, and the Captain turned and nodded to
the tactical officer a "Do what he says." kind of nod.
            The cannon
fire stopped, and Davie
looked at the Captain's hair floating in a spire above her head. "That's a good
look for you ya' know?" he said, and the flight deck doors opened slowly. Davie watched as the
small ship turned towards them. "Well, it's been lovely," Davie said, "but now I'm afraid I have to
go." e stepped backwards to the lift. "Oh, and captain?" he said, unzipping the
vest and swinging it down into one hand, "You can keep this!" he said as he
tossed the vest towards her. It flew through the zero gravity towards her face,
and when she caught it and pulled it away from her face, the lift doors were
closing. She looked at the vest in her hands, and one of the pockets flapped
open, and out floated and empty ammunition clip. She opened another, and
another, only to find empty magazines in the vest. She gritted her teeth and
growled in anger. "What a guy!" said her body guard, smiling. She turned slowly
and annoyedly towards him, his comment only worsening her rage. The smile
disappeared from his face, and he slinked backwards, as Castillo threw the vest
to the ground.

                                                            *          *          *
            Davie chuckled to himself
as the lift descended towards the flight deck. Suddenly, the wall in front of
him tore away as the mining missile turned transport ripped through the steel
deck, and past him, inches in front of his face, burrowing into another, and
another. The ship caught the elevator cables, and Davie was dragged along with it.  The ship came to an abrupt halt, and the
elevator flew through  weightlessness
towards it's rear, slamming down hard into it. Davie was tossed far from the wreckage of the
elevator, tumbling across the hull of the missile, and he slammed into a tree. A tree? he thought. He looked around and
realized the missile had penetrated all the way to the arboretum. Strange
animals floated about suspended in the air. He looked at the large hole in the
ceiling made the missile/transport, and saw a rather large amount of coolant
leaking out from it. He jumped straight up towards the thick pipe, and upon
closer inspection saw the words "Reactor Coolant Line" scrolling across the
pipe. "Smeg, that isn't good…" he said pushing himself away from the pipe and
down towards the ship.
He pushed what looked like a tomato
with teeth out of his way as he descended, the strange little creature snapping
at his fingers. He landed next to an entrance at the side of missile. He
knocked loudly on the door, "Hello in there!?" he shouted.

<OOC – Well, what did you expect
would happen when a planetary mining drill with thrusters crashed in a ship
with no gravity to slow it down? Oh, and the reactor…>
