*Action* - "Leaving the snow planet"

Who: Captain Jay Chrysler, All Blue Dwarf crew
Where: Snow planet, outside the landed Blue Dwarf
When: As the Hymenoptera/Human army attacks

Everyone started, some people rolling, and some people throwing snowballs at the
insects.
As the battle started, Captain Chrysler turned to Justin and Rufus, and all of
the other engineers and scientists who were lingering behind. "I want you to get
onto the Blue Dwarf as soon as possible." He said. "See if you can activate the
automatic turrets to help us out, and then war up the wormhole drive."

Jay knelt down in the snow and scrunched up some snow into a tight snowball.
"What are you doing?" Seymour asked him.
"Making a snowball." Jay said honestly.
"That won't make a single piece of difference!" Seymour scolded him. "That is an
army of highly deadly human-insect genetic freaks! They can't be harmed by
snowballs!"
"It's a distraction." Jay said, and threw one long range, landing square in the
face of a giant man-spider who was just about to slash Wolfgang Sweetsly with
his talons. Luckily the sudden birst of snow to the face caused the creature to
miss, allowing Sweetsly to snatch the monster's bazukoid and explode him into a
green splat.
"See." Said Jay.
Seymour folded his arms in a grump, unhappy that he'd been proved wrong. "Well
the Captain of a starship shouldn't be dirtying his hands like that anyway. It's
undignified! That's what your crew is for."
"Good point." Said Jay, and he looked at Seymour firmly. "Go and join the fight,
that's an order!"
Seymour dragged his feet through the snow.

Who: Justin and Rufus
Where: On the Blue Dwarf
When: After getting onboard

"There... done." He said.
"Okay." Said Justin. "So we can go back to our own universe?"
"Yes. All we have to do is press this green button here."
"Do it!"
"No way!" Said Rufus. "We're the only people on the ship! Everyone else is still
outside!"

Rufus and Justin came out of the airlock carrying crates of beer above their
heads. They both stopped, put the crates down and armed themselves with a bottle
of Stella. A Hymenoptera with the body of a spider, and the face of a Geordie
thug ran at them. Rufus sheek the beer and sprayed it over the insect's body.
Rufus expected the Hymenoptera to scream in pain, or shrivel up like he'd seen a
hundred times before when they'd used beer as a chemical weapon – but it didn't
do anything. The creature stopped, licked it's Human lips, and then continued to
charge at them.
"It's not working!" Justin shouted.
"They must be immune." Said Rufus. "They do have Human DNA."
The bug crouched, ready to pounce at them both. But just before it did, it's
guts exploded outwards in a spray of green blood. Behind it stood their Captain,
Jay Chrysler with a smouldering Bazukoid, pointing directly at the dead
creature.
"Captain!" Rufus called. "The Hymenoptera aren't affected by beer." He pointed
at the crates they'd brought out with them, and felt disappointed at the effort
it took to drag the beer all the way from Parrotts bar.
"Put it back inside. I don't want a drop of beer wasted!" Jay nudged the crate
with his toe. "Apart from this one, it's non-alcoholic beer. I don't mind
wasting that."
Justin bit his lip. "Sorry, that was my fault... I thought..."
"You thought what?" Said Jay. "That you didn't want to see any Hymenoptera get
hurt?" Jay scowled at him, he hated that Justin liked the Hymenoptera with a
sick passion. It was the Hymenoptera who killed his wife, and he couldn't
understand anyone liking them.
"Oh well, might as well use them as weapons." Said Rufus, and threw a bottle of
Kalibur non-alcoholic lager at the nearest Hymenoptera. The bottle smashed and
covered the insect in the liquid, which started to burn through it's skin, until
it melted into a puddle on the floor.
"Non-alcoholic beer kills them!" Shouted Rufus. "Who'd have thought!"
They threw a few more bottles, until the Hymenoptera retreated long enough for
the entire crew to climb back onto the Blue Dwarf. The Security Officers guarded
the doors and helped everyone in through the airlocks until everyone was safe.

Where: Drive Room
When: Just after
"All systems are go Captain!" Said Kotchanski. "It looks like the Mimes have
repaired the ship back to how it was before Spidette destroyed everything. The
Promenade has been rebuilt, they've even put a coffee machine on my desk!"
"Nice try. That's mine, you just stole it from my office!" Said the Captain.
Callum groaned. "I hoped you hadn't noticed."
"Engage Wormhole Drive!" Said Jay.
Rufus engaged the Drive, and the icy windows of the Drive Room glowed with the
bright light of a wormhole opening up on the planet around them. The massive
heavy starship was sucked through, back into it's normal dimension.
"Hold on. Wouldn't using the Wormhole this close to the planet be cataclysmic to
the planet?"
On the planet, some of the Hymenoptera who were left were sucked into the giant
vortex which had just appeared where the Blue Dwarf had been peacefully parked.
The giant space-tunnel whipped up the snow into a blizzard an sucked it all in,
along with any wildlife, rocks, and several mountains which had been ripped up.
The Prison buildings were ripped apart, and giant cracks appeared, snaking their
way across the entire planet.
In short; the planet had been ruined.

Where: Drive Room, Blue Dwarf, back in our galaxy
When: Just after leaving the wormhole
Jay wiped the icy windows and saw the rubble of the planet they had destroyed
coming through the wormhole in a shower of fragments. "Oops." He said, then
turned around to his crew. "Okay, who's round is it down the pub?"
